We were more than pleased. We will definitely consider this house in the future
Very comfortable, clean, and had some interesting touches. Very nice stay and would book here again.
This house was perfect for our stay! Located right off the highway and next to a great little cafe, the house is a convenient jump off point to enjoy all the Palouse has to offer. Our hosts were polite and responsive and the home was very clean. Would definitely return.
Had a great stay here! It was perfect for what we needed on our trip. Communication was great and thanks for supplying bottles of water!
Had a great stay with our 2 dogs. Plenty of room for them and the fenced area was perfect. The house had so much character and was cozy. Wonderful place to spend time!
Small, but great for 2 to 4 people. Beds are very comfortable and the common areas are cozy. A little removed from Pullman but a fairly easy drive to Moscow and not bad to Pullman. Well provisioned in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom. The diner adjacent to the house is convenient for breakfast and lunch and the quality of the food and the service are excellent.
I get that this was the most affordable option for our family as we dropped our triplets off at U Idaho, and believe me, we are thankful for that. But sometimes, you get what you pay for. We moved our babies in on the first day of our stay so we didn’t get to the house until 9 or 10ish and we were hot, tired and miserable. It was over 100-degrees that day so we just wanted to cool off and take nice showers before settling in for a couple hours of sleep. - There’s no AC. There is a window unit but unless you want to sleep on the kitchen table, it doesn’t matter. - The shower smells. No, really, read the reviews that the owner has poo-pooed below. It really does. When you first turn it on it smells like sewage and once that dissipates it is just pure pennies. Yes, I understand well and septic, but this is bad. Several in our fam opted out of much needed showers. - Sheets are clean and stuff but they felt like they were hand washed in grammy’s old well barrel and hung to dry. SO stiff! Not a nice, comfy spot to sleep as you sweat out your new metal stench. Now comes the haunting. Listen, book if you don’t believe, for reals, good on ya. But bro, if you do believe, and want to know how absolutely terrifying this house is because that’s your thing—this is your VRBO. Do it. Stay here. I bet you won’t ever again. Why they’re not marketing that part of this stay, I’ll never understand. It seems like there are plenty who’d love it. Over all—don’t stay here.
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly The Good: This is a great stay for a college family that wants an alternative to a hotel and a little more room. It is a small relaxing drive into Moscow (recommended route) for UI or WSU. There is a grocery store in town about half a mile away that has all the staples for your stay and eating. The house itself has been nicely cleaned and remodeled. It has that eclectic feel you expect from a small town rental. Having rentals I can appreciate the time and money invested in new floors and the bathroom. The Bad: The location is right on the highway. I read reviews and knew this going in. It is a little difficult to pull into the driveway. Coming back from WSU you either make an illegal turn across a double yellow or make a funky loop 100 yards away. The light traffic accomodates for this. Once inside, during the summer,, the sound from the portable air conditioner and the fans drown out the traffic noise. The Ugly: The internet speed is really slow and made it hard to watch TV because the TV kept cutting out. Netflix was about the only thing that worked because it adjusts for bandwidth. Phones and laptops seem to do OK when connected to WIFI. We are big foodies and planned on cooking several meals. Other than the new coffee pot and Keurig, the entire kitchen seemed like it was furnished from the free box at a local estate sale. It would be nice to have more than 1 usable pot and 1 pan. Also, no BBQ but both a quick cheap easy fix.
Roomy yet cozy. Excellent wifi. Nice yard for our little dog. Well-equipped and clean. The bathroom was redone, and there were plenty of towels. Was surprised that we had to get damage insurance or provide a hefty deposit, but hadn't used VRBO for awhile.
Enjoyed our stay and place was great and everything we needed. Will look to stay here again next time we come visit my daughter at the U of I.
Nice to be out of the college towns but close enough to easily get there for all events.
House is well equipped, cozy and very clean!
We stayed for a WSU football game. It’s a little bit of a drive, but so nice to be able to cook dinner instead of braving the crowds. Will stay again!
This house was OK to stay at for the price and not too far from WSU. However, there was an abundance of flies in the house most of the weekend. Not sure where they were coming from. Also, had to figure out why the heaters would not come on. Not turned on at the circuit breaker box. This should not be something we have to do. Guess it was overlooked by caretaker?? I also think that it should be mentioned in the VRBO info that this property has well water. We would have brought water with us. Got there later on a Friday night so had to wait until next day to purchase some. Otherwise house was an OK stay.
The home was very clean and well stocked with all the essentials. The location is a little misleading. It’s very close to a very busy road and surrounded by other homes and an industrial type building. But the place grew on us. It is quiet at night and clean and comfortable.
Great spot! Easy and clean. Very clear communication. Simple check in. Thank you!
Had everything we needed for our stay. Beds were comfortable. Internet provided worked excellent. A little surprised that the house was just a few car lengths off the main highway so there was a lot of road noise (maybe it was in the description somewhere and we overlooked it), but otherwise the house was good fit for what we needed.
Communication was clear and the property was clean. A great experience
Great pet friendly property near Pullman. I stayed here in the winter and now again in the summer and both visits were great. It was a perfect place to stay while visiting WSU.
This was a really nice cottage in Potlatch. It was cute and clean with a nice fenced in yard for our dog. The porches were great spots to spend time during the day. Air conditioning kept the cottage nice and cool. Jonathan's communication was great.
We enjoyed stay here! It was great!
Exactly what we expected. It was very clean. The house warmed up quickly as we were coming from a cold rainy trip. All needed supplies were provided. It was so easy to get everything turned on. Communication from the owner was outstanding. This is our first time using VRBO.
Thanks for the opportunity to stay at your home. It was nice to have a place where we could all be together and it was a good value. There was a problem with the outlet in the bathroom. We couldn't use it.
