Coeur d'Alene's Famous Lakeshore Cottage steps to Sander's Beach & Tubb's Hill!

Awesome little cottage! Perfect for our family of four to gather for Thanksgiving. Close to town and directly across from Lake CoeurD’Alene. It had everything (& more) we wanted for a long weekend getaway…even bikes and kayaks!! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, the bedding was cozy and we were walking (or biking) distance to anywhere.

This was a lovely cottage i highly recommend. The place was spotless clean, and had full amenities. Im so glad we found this place. One to keep and let your friends know about if they ate heading to Coeur D'Alene.

Lovely location. Close to restaurants and hiking. Perfect for us and our sweet dog. Clean and had everything we needed. Host was so helpful with dining suggestions.

We had an amazing time! The hosts were very responsive to our needs. House was clean and very well equipped. Right across the street from the lake. Location can’t be beat! We will be back for sure!

We had the best time during our stay, this was our first time visiting CDA and we will be back! We were able to explore by foot all that CDA has to offer. We enjoyed walking to restaurants and downtown while also spending time enjoying the lake from the patio! Jack was responsive and so helpful with recommendations. So happy to have found this gem!

The Cottage By The Lake is a lovely, well appointed cottage. The owner went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect.

This property more than lived up to the description. Everything you need in the kitchen, kayaks and bikes in the garage, and a very responsive host. The location next to the hiking trail and proximity to town was perfect. Highly recommend.

September 15-22, 2024 All of the positive reviews are spot on, but if you've never been to CDA, you don't realize until you get there how great the location is. Tubbs Hill is just steps away and you will want to walk it several times to enjoy its spectacular views. Restaurants/grocery store either walkable or a short drive away. The porch view is lovely and the shoreline street is very quiet in September.

The lakeshore cottage was amazing and the entire family loved it.

Very nice place with a front balcony that had great seating and a partial view of the lake. The place was clean and comfortable. Best of all was the garage full of bikes and kayaks! The beach was just a half block away across the street, so we could launch the kayaks down there. And easy to bike from the house in various directions.

Most well stocked home I’ve seen! Owner provided a list of restaurants and things to do, great views of the lake from the front porch. We will be back for a longer visit next time

This location is the best, it was quiter than staying in town, but just a few minutes away. It is about as close to the lake as you could want, and stocked with everything you could hope. The kitchen had everything we needed. When I thought the floor plan was a little dark at night, I found an extra nightlight in the kitchen drawers. The garage was stocked with inflatables and kayaks and bikes and I can't imagine anything else we could have possibly needed for a fun trip. This location is the best and we hope to stay here again soon. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

I booked this idealylic cottage for my wife's birthday. While the Seaplane I had booked for birthday was cancelled due to weather, we were able to take in the car show and shops as the random rain torrents went on. It was very enjoyable to return to this cottage, the fireplace, and the view of the lake! The host were very responsive in answering questions. It is very likely that we will book this place again the next time we stay in Coeur d'Alene!

We were in love with the cottage!! Everything was perfect. The size, the location and of coarse, Jack. He communicated with us from the beginning of our stay until the end, making sure that our needs were met and that everything was perfect. We are looking forward to our next visit to Couer D'Alene and the cottage.

The cottage was very clean and cozy and the hosts are awesome! They provided us a lot of information about the area, things to do, etc. and always quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.
