Flagstaff, Arizona
A bohemian chic, mid-century home nestled in the tree-lined Coconino Estates along the Rio de Flag. With the Flagstaff Urban Trail System out the backyard gate, it is a hiking and mountain biking paradise, or a 1 ½ mile walk or bike ride to historic downtown Flagstaff with restaurants and art galleries. With art, antiques and modern appointments, the house is roomy at 2,000 square feet of space and comfortable for families or couples, including a fenced backyard. Twelve miles from Arizona Snowbowl Ski Resort, thirty miles north of Sedona along the spectacular highway 89 of Oak Creek Canyon, and 80 miles southwest from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, the Coconino Nest is perfectly located for all season recreation. Coconino National Forest and Kachina Peaks Wilderness are play spaces for hikes, picnics or meditation in the woods. The space is perfect for a working vacation, with strong internet and work stations in three of the bedrooms. A spacious kitchen prompts convivial meal preparation, and the great room is perfect for reading, games, puzzles or streaming

Every thing is good, except some pots and pan should be replace.
The house has great energy and spreads into the outdoors seamlessly. House was stocked with more than just essential cooking items. Plenty of bathrooms and room to accommodate different things going on all over the house.
Excellent location, comfy, big spaces, we loved that the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our new year's dinner.
This house was very nice. It is close to shopping, restaurants, and NAU. The house was cozy and clean. The kitchen was supplied with dishes and pans for home cooking and family time. We would stay here again.
My brother and I stayed there during an Elk Hunt. The home is huge and has lots of space. It’s a little old, but is clean well maintained and it has everything you can ask for . Thank you for everything
We loved our stay! We loved being able to walk downtown, 30 min walk, enjoyed some urban hiking on trail behind home and relaxed playing games in spacious great room.
Our second stay at the house; it is nicely kept up, and makes a fine residence for Flagstaff visits. Having the trail system right off of the backyard is a bonus.
Easy access to property, good location to downtown. Very roomy. Great host.
Everything was good and worked for us (siblings reunion - two brothers and sister ages 73-84). Only comment is that the property was not in as good shape (maintenance) as appeared in listing. But it was adequate to our needs. Thanks - Ned Mawhirter
Cozy older home w/ plenty of space for you and friends. The toilet in the newly added bathroom needs attending as the mounting bolts are missing, causing it to wobble. Sheets on one of the beds, while clean, were stained - you may want to update them. We weren't able to spend much time at the house as we were in Flagstaff for a conference, but it's conveniently located to many things to do!! Thank you for a lovely house!
Quiet residential neighborhood, not a lot of rentals. House was spacious and well stocked with essentials. Host was very helpful and responsive. No AC.
Thank you for sharing your house with us. We were comfortable there
Everything about the house was great. Had a great time exploring the area. Would definitely book again in the future. Thanks
I was looking for a rental with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in Flagstaff so that we could visit some of the wonderful parks in AZ and UT. This house gives you a lot of space, and convenient location to visit a LOT of fantastic parks. We did not spend a lot of time in the house as we usually left at 7:30am and returned in the evening between 6-11pm. In the five days we stayed in Flagstaff we visited Sunset Crater, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley UT, Grand Canyon, and finally Sedona. For our party of four, we spent only $820 for four nights. It was clean, and spacious and in a convenient location within Flagstaff. Some things to improve: 1. The internet did not work while we were there. 2. Great to have three full bathrooms, but the towels were not very good. 3. It was cold while we were there, but the furnace would only heat-up the house to 62 degrees F.
Very cute little house. It was exactly as advertised.
Beautiful flagstaff mountain escape, short hour drive to Grand Canyon, and plenty of winter activities nearby
Coconino Estates is a nice property for a rustic family/group to visit Flagstaff area. We rented this home away from home for our first Christmas in Arizona. Being from Ohio, we wanted to experience the winter weather for the holiday. The location and size of the home was perfect for our family of 5. It needs updated caninets, furniture and bedding. Also, the home was very cold during our time in December. Communication was wonderful with the owner.
Comfy beds, lots of room, well-appointed kitchen, gate in the backyard that is on the FUTS & host that is super easy to communicate with! Second stay at this home and we’ll be back.
Perfect for a visit to Flagstaff. Home is immaculately clean and in a nice neighborhood.
Amazing and spacious house located directly on the running trail. Unbelievable location!!
Furniture is a little antiquated but everything was clean. Great communication from the owner!
Stayed here for trip to grand canyon and other sightseeing places. The house was large enough but definitely outdated inside they are doing some remodeling but need to have drapes in the bedrooms that are not see thru and furniture not ready to fall apart. I realize it's very windy there but the front had not been swept plus in 2 of the 3 bathrooms there are no outlets for hairdryer or curling iron etc. It seems to be a perfect rental for college students.
