Loved the property, neighbors were great, everything was in great working order great trip.
Out of all the previous reviews of the property, the 3/5 is the most accurate. The location was beautiful. However, I do agree with the lack of cleanliness overall. There was dust/dirt on the baseboards, kitchen cabinets and floor. I had to wash anything in the kitchen before using it making it uncomfortable to prepare meals. Stairs to loft need grips and loft TV didn’t work. No laundry basket as indicated in check out instructions. All chairs on the deck were warped, rusted and could not be sat in. There was glass on the ground under the house, which we had to tell our kids to stay away from for safety concerns. Like I said, beautiful location but the property itself was not up to our family’s standards.
Beautiful view
Absolutely great stay - thanks for having us. The view couldn’t be beat, and we were treated to a BEAUTIFUL rainbow just over the river on our first night. It was comfortable, and clean. However, for suggestions - 1. Recommend a nonslip mat for outdoor shower2. Recommend offering more toiletries for guests… if I had forgotten any, the drive to dollar general is decently long!3. Recommend a baby gate to block off step for younger children (didn’t expect one, but it would have been an awesome add on)4. Recommend more towels for kitchen use! Overall, it was fantastic stay. The above things I mentioned would only add icing to a very special cake.
Quiet and comfortable location. Communication with Contact person was good. House clean and beds comfortable. Enjoyed my stay this is my 2nd stay Here.
Beautiful views, great fishing, very quiet location, the house was very dirty and a few safety issues that need to be addressed.
Very nice cottage. Setting is gorgeous with the Pamlico River softly lapping the shores. Very tranquil and neighbors are great.
Our family enjoyed our stay. Nice, quiet area relaxing stay house was clean and comfortable. Stove oven needed some attention thank you for an enjoyable stay
Great
This a lovely cottage with amazing view! It was an awesome get away for our family.
Great.
Had a great time with my husband, 4 children and dog. Cute place! Fantastic private pier from which we caught a number of blue crabs and spotted dolphins, flying fish, and other marine life. Visited the free Aurora Fossil Museum where we all dug and found fossils and marine life teeth and bones. (Diggers can keep anything found! The small museum also explains not just about fossils and teeth/bone, especially shark, but also about the area's phosphate mine from which the digging materials come.) It was quiet and peaceful. We had such a relaxing time, making many special memories at Trader John's - thank you!
