The home is beautiful with lots of areas for us to hang out. The views are incredible from every window! Our hosts decorated beautifully and were helpful with our questions. We can’t wait to stay there again!
The house and property is a great space for a large group. We could spread out and could enjoy a variety of activities on the property. Exploring the grounds and pasture allowed us to stretch our legs. Seeing the cows live a good life was refreshing. The views are spectacular! After a long day of Family Weekend at VMI the back porch and hammock were super relaxing! Would definitely recommend this property for anything VMI related.
It was amazing! Perfect for our group and so close to the Horse Center!
Fabulous setting. The views are spectacular. Kitchen well equipped for cooking and grilling outside. The spaces are large and comfortable with stunning views from each room. The host is gracious and accommodating.
Spectacular country view with a wonderful, charming house. Had some 12 plus guests plus family for an outdoor deck party which celebrated a graduation… wonderful setting for such a momentous occasion.
In town for a horse show and the location could not have been better. The house was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for everyone. The property is beautiful. Highly recommend!!!
Stunning views of the rolling fields from the deck in the hottub. Cozy furniture for watching TV, and a large kitchen, comfortable beds- it had it all. Thanks for sharing your lodge with us.
Family wedding followed by family gathered for Super Bowl. This house provided us with everything we needed including horses, cows and an absolutely spectacular view. Amanda was very responsive to any question we had.
The photos barely do the property justice, it was even more beautiful in person. Sunrise and sunsets are a must-see. We stayed here over the New Year’s holiday and really enjoyed being able to walk around the farm and see the animals and property. The living spaces were comfortably large enough to accommodate our group of 10. Location is very convenient to Lexington, but we preferred more to stay in and enjoy the space! Thank you Amanda for a wonderful stay!
I simply can't express how fabulous this property is. Stunning panoramic views of the Blue Ridge mountains and countryside around Lexington provided a serene backdrop that set the stage for a wonderful visit to Lexington VA. The well-appointed house provides a warm and. cozy atmosphere that easily accommodated our group of six and our desire to spend a lot of quality time together. Yet there is ample space and furnishings in and outside to allow one to find a spot to curl up with a good book or just the quiet sounds of nature if one desires. Super clean, and well appointed with comfortable furniture, everything needed to enjoy your stay is provided. Our group was in Lexington for our college reunion, and we all agreed that this should become our go-to property for when we get together (normally once or twice a year). So if you a looking for a place to stay when visiting Lexington (or a central spot from which to explore the Shenandoah Valley) I would suggest you look no further. The location is extremely convenient to Lexington and all of the main highways (RT 11, I-81, I_64) that are your gateways to the Shenandoah Valley.
House was beautiful. Rooms big and gave everyone their own space. The views were spectacular. Was happy to have everything ready for us early. We will be planning another trip to this beautiful home!!!
This house was perfect. We were in town for a reunion and this house allows us to stay with several friends and be close to town at the same time. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing fun weekend.
We loved being able to relax with each other in a beautiful place. We enjoyed every minute of it. It was clean, spacious and beautiful.
I booked this property for my family as my niece was getting married in the area. The property was great. Beautiful views from anywhere on the Property. Clean and stocked. When I say stocked, if I forgot something it was there. From soap to an iron, can’t always think of everything to bring. That also makes it nice because We didn’t have to pack everything. The Property owners were great and super nice. Already thinking of staying again.
Very good communication and very relaxing stay.
The experience was phenomenal. The place was great, the host was easy to communicate with. We just wanted a place that was easy to get to for people coming from different directions so that we could enjoy the weather, views, food, and some gaming. Lazy acres provided a wonderful spot for us to come together.
