Cliffside Cottage with Ocean Hot Tub

I secretly want to give a low rating so its more avaliable for future stays. Super small cute perfect peaceful little place to get away to. Older house but has character and everything you need.

Hot tub was great. Was very pet friendly ccould usr maybe a lil fenced in area.

Second time here. We just love it! Close to amenities such as restaurants and shopping. Amazing view and hot tub. We’ll definitely be back.

It was great

This was our 4th stay at Serendipity. Lovely cottage with outstanding views, walking distance to restaurants in Depoe Bay. Very clean and comfortable. Only complaints? Hot tub jets are very gentle and the drip coffee maker was missing the on button so we couldn't brew our own coffee. There is, however, there is a Kurig and pods available.

It was the perfect place to stay and we totally enjoyed it!!!

Our second time staying here - we love it. Whale watching from the hot tub or the cozy living room was a delight. Also - lots of bird activity at the feeders and in the yard. We will be back!

Delightful place! We loved everything about it. Had a cozy couple of stormy days whale and wave watching. We would live to come back!

The home is quaint and cozy. Great local to shops, food, sight seeing. The view from hot tub was fabulous. The whale watching was amazing.

The views were incredible, hearing the ocean the whole time was so relaxing - great place to decompress. The hot tub was a nice touch and was clean and easy operate as well.

If you are a couple looking to get away do not research any further. It does not get any better than this. It has the most beautiful views we have ever seen. We sat on the deck and watched whales for hours everyday. The most peaceful setting I have visited. Depoe Bay and the surrounding areas are incredible, we will be back for sure.

This cozy cottage exceeded our expectations! The ocean view was unbeatable and we even saw a few whales from our windows. It was walkable to town and the perfect size for a couple traveling with our small dog.

Where to start... this is THE place to stay! Perfectly located and within walking distance to downtown Depoe Bay, making our outings very convenient. You cant beat the breath taking views as soon as you drive up to the home. We were immediately greeted by some migrating whales upon arrival! Thank you to the host for making this a home away from home with so many wonderful comforts. We will be booking again soon!

Walking into the house, immediately smacked in the face with the smell of dog pee. Pretty disappointing considering the price of the stay. They either need to professionally clean the carpet or rip the carpet out. Beautiful view and hot tub was nice.

Wife and I spent a week in this cabin and the views and hot tub made up for the dated decor and small shower. We would stay here again.

Absolutely gorgeous views and walkable distance to most things in Depoe Bay. Loved the hot tub and privacy! Only complaint was the bed was a little tough to sleep in, besides that everything was perfect!

Fantastic views of the ocean from inside or outside, comfortable bed and chairs, nice heat, great hot tub. Very clean. Central location to take road trips of the coast. Only issue was controls for burners on vintage stove didn't work so great. Will visit again!

We will definitely come back. The sunsets were wonderful and the weather even cooperated. Nothing but sunshine during our stay.

Rustic cozy cottage - million dollar view with nicely private hot tub. Note - no oven or dishwasher. Has mini-fridge with freezer compartment, stove top, microwave, and keurig. No beach access - but amazing elevated bluff view from inside the house and outside on the deck. Comfy bed. Quiet! Loved it.

We ha stayed here so often neither of us can remember how many times. It is perfect for two quirky senior citizens who like to watch the ocean and have access to good places to eat. We love it rain or shine!

Stunning views in a cozy older beach cabin. Easy walking distance to many Depoe Bay locations. We were so appreciative of being able to have our dogs with us. Very private. We would definitely stay here again. Did we mention the views?

Perfect location. Excellent view. House could use some updating. Living room carpet old, worn, dirty looking. Big issue with toilet. Never worked right so hesitant to use but when you gotta go, you gotta go.

Review: A Charming Oceanfront Retreat!This adorable little rental exceeded all of our expectations! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the private backyard facing the ocean made for a perfect place to relax. The hot tub was a dream—completely private and offering a luxurious view of the water. It has plenty of outdoor chairs, a fantastic deck with a bench and a picnic table, making it easy to unwind and take in the scenery.Inside, the kitchen was impressively well-stocked with essentials like coffee, spices, olive oil, and white vinegar, and the mini fridge was much bigger than I expected based on the listing. The shower water pressure was perfect, which was a pleasant surprise.One of the best parts of this home was the thoughtful touches. There’s an incredible collection of books to choose from, incredibly comfortable chairs, plus two binoculars for whale watching—such a special addition! It even had a little dog bed and a baby gate, which made it feel extra homey.The location is fantastic—just a short walk to stores and restaurants, making it super convenient.The only downside? The bed. The mattress was just awful—uncomfortable to the point where it really affected our sleep. If that were improved, this place would be absolute perfection.Still, overall, this home is an incredible getaway, and we would love to come back!

Cozy little cottage with spectacular views, it was stunning to look out over the ocean and weather was beautiful. Tucked into a quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable.

Very comfortable, exactly as described. Convenient location. I highly recommend it, the wall of windows overlooking the ocean provided amazing views, and the whales put on a show for us three of our four day stay( at no extra chare).

We absolutely loved this little cottage. Had all the amenities we needed and the view of the ocean was out of this world. We’d love to book here again.

The view was as advertised, we had a great time viewing whales from the deck. The deck hot tub was perfect, with views of the ocean/sunset and nice privacy. The living area had comfortable furniture, again with ample views of the ocean. The wifi worked fine and the cottage was very clean. Just a short walk to shops and restaurants in the heart of Depoe Bay. Great off street parking at the cottage. The cottage has a 1960's vibe, which we found charming. It has wood paneling throughout, and the stove top is an early-mid 1960's General Electric pushbutton unit, and many of the fixtures seem to be from that era. There is no dishwasher, nor oven - but there was an electric toaster oven in the cabinet and the microwave is a newer model. That said, it was well stocked with cook ware and what one would need for preparing and enjoying a meal in the cottage. We loved the throwback feel of the place, but realize that might not work for everyone. No complaints about the property, but one item that we found humorous. The basket of supplies on the kitchen counter included dishwasher tabs and laundry detergent - but there is neither a diswasher nor a clothes washer/dryer in the cottage. I suspect that the management company has a standard basket that they place in all units, regardless of how they are equipped. A side note, about the general practices in the vacation rental market. Nice stay at a good midway point for north and south coast. Perfect for 2-3 people. Basic comforts, on a quiet location off the tourist path.

In a word, FANTASTIC!!! This place had a wonderful view of the ocean. Tucked in to the trees on one side and a nice tall fence on the other. Easy to find and a very short walk to town. I highly recommend this place for any couple.
