Stayed Jul 12, 2025House is spacious and well equipped for a big family group in a fabulous location within two minutes walking distance of Carrowmore harbour and five minutes walk from Carrowmore beach. 5 minute drive to Louisbourgh. Stunning views. Lovely large safe garden for kids play.

Stayed Aug 10, 2024Had a great week in perfectly appointed setting. Fantastic views across the bay and a short stroll to a beautiful sandy beach. We loved swimming and surfing in the sea. Lovely Louisburg town is just down the road and handy for provisions. Would recommend the ferry ride and day on Clare Island too.

Stayed Jun 12, 2021We had a great stay in Louisburgh, the house was fabulous and the location was even better. The views from the house across clew bay down to Clare island were magnificent and the house has plenty of space and a great dining table in the kitchen area. Stayed Dec 31, 1969Clew Bay House is a perfect base for any family intending to enjoy all that South-West Mayo has to offer. The open plan ground floor layout is super for relaxing together after a day of hiking, surfing, beach walking, or whatever outdoor pursuits you choose. The large kitchen is well kitted out, perfect for preparing meals to be shared at the large dining table. Plenty of space to chill upstairs in the lounge, with a super deck/balcony to sit out and watch the sunset. Great garden overlooking Carrowmore beach (also great for pier jumping), only a 3 minute walk to the beach. Couldn’t ask for more.
