The outdoor area was unusable It was dusty, dirty, and unwelcoming Undercover roof was covered in cobwebs and had clearly not been attended to for some weeks. Inside everything was dusty and did not appear to have been cleaned, as you would assume it should be in readiness for guests. All the kitchen utensils , cup, saucers, cutlery were good, no problems. The floor needed to be cleaned. Bedrooms and bathrooms good, Thankyou .

The property suited our group very well, but we did have problems communicating with the agents. We did not receive an email with the code to the lock box and needed to call the agent, who was very obliging. Unfortunately the written communications were not as successful, with two of our messages not being answered at all. Disappointing.

We enjoyed the space and facilities in the property. The only downside was broken blinds meaning we were woken by sunlight very early in the morning.

The property had everything we needed. It was a good size and had good indoor and outdoor facilities. We visited end October, it would be a confortable place to stay in either summer or winter with a nice garden and outdoor areas, and fireplace indoors. I visited for a weekend away with my husband and a few friends visiting from the city for two nights. The location in Blackheath meant that on our way there we were able come in along the North of the Blue Mountains stopping at places on the way in Bilpin and at the Botanic Gardens at Mount Tomah. While staying we were able to take advantages of the local shops and places to have lunch in Blackheath town, do a food shop in Katoomba around 15 minutes drive away. We did the Grand Canyon Walk, and also Govetts Leap lookout. When heading back to the city after our stay we toured through Katoomba, the Three Sisters and Leura. The location of the house made all of this easy.
