Clean, Private Guestroom and Bath - Near Biltmore

Great home away from home quite secluded provided the solitude needed as it was a work trip. The extra beverages was a welcome, surprise, and the chocolates.

John is a great host. The location was perfect for our weekend and the amenities were great! Very clean unit and what a nice touch with the cold drinks and chocolates! We definitely recommend this property!

Nice and compact room, easy access, good instructions, convenient location just off 51 for my commute. Was happy to find chocolates and water and soft drinks in the mini fridge and a binder guide with tips and WiFi code. And ann iron and mini ironing board, which was needed. Stocked with toiletries, plenty of towels. Great water pressure and AC. Easy parking spot and access through side gate and dedicated door with lock code. Quiet and had a nice sit in backyard listening to birds. Love the desert landscaping.

Very quiet, peaceful spot yet close to everything you could want and downtown. Room had all you could need and we really appreciated the bottled water. Great communication with John as needed yet very private spot.

Great clean room and bathroom! Lots of amenities--coffee maker, coffee, waters, soda, fridge, microwave, soaps and lotions.Although just a room there is a private entrance from the outside which is really nice. Super quiet neighbotrhood. Owner was very friendly too.

John’s apartment is very clean and thoughtfully arranged. I had a great stay and would absolutely stay again. 10/10

My spouse and I stayed two evenings in John’s little guest house in an urban neighborhood with trees, yards, and sidewalks for walking and close to restaurants and stores. There is a breezeway that separates the guest space from the main house, so it does not share a wall. It has its own entrance and parking space. Everything was clean and in good working order, better than the photos.The inside is small for sure, but there is everything you need including a microwave, refrigerator and small freezer. You’ll find a small closet with shelves and a clean floor under a very comfortable queen bed to stow your stuff. The space is fine for a couple or great for one person. I spent the afternoon relaxing there while my spouse went to a museum. I’m a birdwatcher, and while sitting outside or through the window at the small desk inside, I enjoyed observing over a dozen species of Arizona birds in John’s backyard. That was an unexpected plus. Recommend for birders :-)

John ist a great host. I arrived very late at night and could access to rooms without any issues, as the host described everything very well. The room was very clean, loved the hardwood floors, having a fridge and coffee maker (with coffee AND tea capsules provided), water. Wifi and the TV worked perfectly. To my upmost surprise, there was shampoo and various other toiletries provided! This came in super handy as my flight luggage was delayed. Thank you John for your excellent hospitality!

John was very accommodating as I have a disability he gave me patience with. He left some beverages in the mini fridge-freezer. There is a microwave for heating meals if you shop locally. The is dedicated parking as well. This is my Phoenix stop twice a year going forward!

Great room with everything you need, plenty of privacy, and great access to public transportation to get you anywhere you need to go. Went everywhere from Downtown to Tempe and felt like I was in the middle of it all. Great place to stay!

Perfect for my weekend trip. My stay was done primarily for business and getting a quiet place to rest in this case was much needed and seriously did not dissapoint, being that the guest house is located in a very calm and quiet neighborhood. John made the room very cozy and even sets everything up with treats and toiletries for the guest. All his instructions are easy to find and super organized, he even provides books along with a list of all kinds of things to do in the area. Enjoyed it so much I decided to rebook. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect from check in to check out! We will definitely be back in the future.
