Clean & Cozy Home Near Downtown, Hiking, Biking!

We are family of four - two adults, one toddler and one infant. We usually cook our foods from scratch even when traveling, so the kitchen is very important for us. Jen's kitchen was awesome. It had everything we needed. The house was big enough for kids to play and run. Unfortunately, my husband didn't sleep well on the top of the bunk bed.

The house was clean. The only problem there was no tupperware to put left over in, no plastic wrap to cover bowls. There was no species only pepper and salt.

Had a wonderful stay in this easy to access property in a sweet neighborhood.

First, Jen was very responsive. She got back to me quickly and the house was well stocked with cooking, laundry, bathroom essentials. BUT, I would not rent it again. First, the only air conditioner in the house is ONE small window unit in the living room. It was so ridiculously hot in that house that we all slept terrible. I ended up sleeping on the couch (not comfortable) the second night just to be near the air conditioning. There are two fans provided that I set up in the bedroom doorway to help push cold air to the back rooms. But even that didn’t help. We bought another 2 fans and that helped somewhat, but for a house that is advertised as having air conditioning….I was disappointed. Second, the houses is also advertised as sleeping 6 people. Uh, that’s a stretch! It technically would IF you set up the “double floor mattress” that is stashed in the back closet…and the only place to do that is in the living room. So you’d be stepping over whoever sleeping there. Plus, the bathroom is only accessed by walking through one of the two bedrooms. So, don’t plan on renting this house for more than one family. And lastly, the owner put the house up for sale on the last day we were there. So I’m not sure how relevant this review will even be if the house sells. But my husband was outside on work calls and he had multiple people stopping by and asking him questions about the house. It was annoying. Plus, the bunk bed mattresses were terrible and the front yard is overgrown.

Property was great and owner was very easy to communicate with. Would recommend.

Jenn is an excellent host

We really enjoyed our stay in this large older house. All the rooms are a decent size and much of the house has been updated. The location is great - an easy walk to all of downtown Sandpoint (restaurants, bars, parks, waterfront, grocery stores) and half hour drive to Schweitzer. Jen was very responsive to questions. We would certainly stay here again.

Wonderful location with a yard for dogs and walking distance to everything in downtown Sandpoint.

I loved staying in this cozy craftsman home, close to every convenience and all Sandpoint has to offer. It was well equipped with everything needed! The owner was very responsive. I would highly recommend it!

Stayed there with some friends. Great location couple blocks to downtown. Easy walk. Really nice inside, plenty of room.
