Clean and cozy 3 bedroom home

You can’t beat what you get for the price. Very clean, comfortable and affordable. Would definitely stay there again!

Wasn’t bad just found roaches on multiple nights in different rooms so that was off putting. Also had someone knock on our door at 11:30 at night which was quite odd. Other then than it was fine but good for the price.

The house was double booked even when we booked it long in advance, will not use again.

This place was not clean……. Sock from previous guests under bed…. Ants in kitchen and bedroom….. bugs in shower in caulking. No batteries in any of the bedroom remotes….. not one of the three beds has a top sheet……the walking machine leaks water on the floor when used.

There was a note that the dryer was out of order. The WI FI user name/PW were not left on the wall as promised. A light bulb in the fixture above the dining table needed replacing. The living room tv wasn't hooked up at all. The clock on the wall above the tv needed a battery replacement. I sent the owners a message about these items via the VRBO app and got no reply. I did not stay at this place. I stayed at a hotel instead.

When we arrived in the evening (past check in time) the cleaning person was still in the middle of cleaning the property. This was not her fault as she was told that no one had a reservation for that evening. The cleaning person did all she could to make the property ready for us as quickly as she could and she is to be commended for her hospitality. My big complaint is that I was never reached out to from the owner with an apology or an attempt to have some reconciliation. Cleaning person gets 5 stars. Property Owner gets 0 stars for no communication.

Laundry facilities were available. The dryer turned on but did not spin. No Wi-Fi, and the remotes had no batteries. Pans in the kitchen had to be rewashed cause the were filthy. Other than that, the place was amazing.

It felt more like walking into someone else's house than a vacation stay. There were dirty dishes in the oven and dishwasher, kool-aid in the fridge, the sheets were dirty, the floor was dirty, there was a dead possum in the yard. The host was very gracious and quick to respond to needs. Unfortunately I don't think the cleaning service showed up before our visit. We ended up leaving after a couple of hours instead of staying the night(s). An unfortunate damper on our trip to Wichita.

Decent place for the cost, if you don’t mind the funky smell in a couple of the bedrooms. Ours smelled like dirty feet. The ceiling fans were coated in dust and the bedrooms could have been vacuumed better. Beds were comfortable however. The microwave hadn’t been cleaned in heaven knows how long and smelled funky very time we turned it on.

Reached out to host regarding lack of towels and washcloths, never received a reply. House was dirty.

Worst short-term rental experience. Cheap Dollar store sheets and towels, horrible beds, nothing felt properly cleaned, there was a weird smell that was covered up by a bunch of plug in air fresheners. Kitchen was poorly stocked, no dishwasher soap, washer and dryer from the 80’s and dryer made loud squeaking noise. The hosts number was disconnected, toilet clogged and spent hours on the phone with VRBO, and they eventually reached her after several attempts. Had to buy a plunger because there wasn’t one. Host did send a plumber.0/10 would not recommend. Total waste of money.

The host was unresponsive, with the amenities for lacking, The house had a smell and there was a roach motel left in one of the bedrooms.

Cozy home with three rooms with double beds that were comfortable. The kitchen area is just the size I needed.

This home was just what our family of 5 needed. Cozy and comfy is right on. We felt right at home with just enough space and comforts.

It was a nice property that was well kept. Neighborhood was a little busy and cramped. Overall it was adequate and cozy.

This home was a comfort for our trip to Wichita! It has the nostalgic charm of an older house, yet is very well cared for, clean, and nicely decorated. The beds and living spaces were comfortable after long days, and the host added thoughtful aromatherapy touches throughout that made it feel extra welcoming. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and the photos don’t quite capture how nice the home really is. We’d happily stay here again!

Check in was super easy. You may want to bring some ground coffee and creamer. Beds were comfy.

Perfect for what we needed

I stayed here for 1 night for work. I enjoyed the neighborhood and the comfort of the house. I played guitar on the front porch after dark which was lovely.

This is the second year to stay at this house. It is very nice & very clean. Last year I told you it would be preferable to have top sheets on the beds. As it is now, the only cover is a coverlet with no top sheet. I have to wonder if the coverlet gets washed after each guest stay. I always put a top sheet on my beds at home so that I can fold it over the coverlet. That would definitely be an improvement. We were pleased otherwise.

We had a very nice stay here when visiting family. I had to call the host at 9:45pm to ask a question and she answered the phone right away and provided me with what I needed. House was clean and comfortable. It definitely provided ample space for the three of us which is what we wanted. It’s definitely a better option than a hotel if you need more space and freedom of movement at the same price or even lower than some hotel options. We will stay there again.

We stayed one night and would not have stayed longer by choice. The smell of the house was strong- not just old house smell as others have implied. People have clearly smoked in the house and the detergents used on the bedding were so strong it was hard to sleep. The shower is difficult to get to work (a simple explanation in the bathroom would help), but beyond that the shower is so clogged up with hair that it barrly drains. We tried to plug something into the bedroom and it caused sparks. The air didnt work in one of the bedrooms. We were woken several times by screaming neighbors (not the property's fault but it did detract from being able to sleep).

The inside of the home is perfect! Nice and clean, comfortable beds. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teens. The outside of the home could use some cleaning up. The grass was pretty tall and the trees really needed trimming. This did not affect our stay at all. I also had a little trouble with locking the front door. You have ro hold down the lock button instead of just pressing it. Overall it was a great stay. Would stay again for sure!

really need to up date the carpets, light musty smell when first go in. other than that I would stay again not far from any thingfelt very safe, Thanks Annie

Good property for short stay in Wichita. Close to activities.

We came in town for the Eorld of Outlaws sprintcar race and needed a place to stay over night. Found a great place! Beds were very comfortable and house very clean. Didnt expect much for a one night stay but this was grea great.

This was advertised as a 3 bedroom that slept 8. We could find 1 bed in each bedroom6. We checked walls, closets, etc for the 4th bed. No luck. I messaged our host. Didn’t hear until the next day when I was told there was a blowup bed in the hall closet. If it was there, we couldn’t find it. I really think that if a blowup bed is part of the accommodations that it should say that in the description so the guests are aware of what they are looking for. Also, some people couldn’t handle that sleeping arrangement.

Had a very short overnight stay. Property is in an older part of town. Was clean but definitely on the more dated side. It's an older home with old smells and creaky floors. Beds were comfortable, the price was right and it worked just fine for our quick stay. Would consider staying again in the future.

Good value for a night's stay. Minor detail but host should add flat sheets to the beds as a full bedding set up, rather than fitted sheet and comforter only.

This little house was clean and perfect for my family, while visiting the area, however there are a lot of things in the house where it is clear, repairs were done by someone who has no clue what they are doing. I also recived a reaponce, from the host, over a day later.

In short, the house was clean, comfortable, and perfect size on a budget. My wife, 1 year old, and myself stayed here over a weekend. The house was exactly what they stated online. It for sure was cozy and had the room we needed for the short stay, and the price was great. We read some reviews that the location was bad, but if you know Wichita it's pretty standard. It's not a luxury neighborhood but it was just fine. The reviews about parking is correct. There are a lot of cars parked on the street, but having a driveway made this a non issue. The reviews about the yard being overgrown is true, but I still played with our child in both the back and front yard and found it a non-issue. Beds being clean and comfortable is a must for me, and this house delivered on that. This is not a negative remark on the house but it is an older house, and older houses have older smells. Nice place. Pretty clean but vent in hallway was very dirty and spiderwebs in the corners of the living room. Possible vent fan in bathroom as well. Also the the shrubs/trees blocked a portion of the stairs making carrying bags a bit hard. We were in town for a family emergency and the place was clean and easy to access owner was pleasant to deal with

Thos place was awesome!. We went to wichita for a short getaway weekend, and this place was lacking nothing we really needed.
