We loved our stay at this property in Valdosta. It is a beautiful old house like ones in Savanna. The historical neighborhood is charming.

First, this is an old historic home in th South, so there are things that can’t be helped which we understand. We loved the home. It is lovely and has all the extras, as listed. The host goes above and beyond. It is comfortable, laundry detergent, snacks, shampoo, conditioner, etc and has smart tvs (in bedrooms and living room). We recommend cleaning / maintaining the exterior backyard fence, furniture and backyard, as it wasn’t inviting, but that didn’t affect our stay. We did see a large cockroach in the master bedroom that we killed. Gross but again, Spring in South- it happens. The bathrooms are fully functioning and stocked. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen small but has all the amenities of home. Communication was great. The check-out was smooth- with only taking out trash as the chore. The next door neighbors have a rooster that is loud & wakes you. The train tracks are near and you hear the train often. Thanks for sharing your home.

We didn’t use the kitchen. We arrived late and left early. The house had nice furnishings but it was a very old house with many things that need repaired.

The home was really nice and had the vintage charm that I like. It was perfect for our one-night stay as we travelled on to our cruise. Even when the weather altered our plans, the hostess was very accommodating and did everything they could to assist us with our plans.

The home was easy to access, it was clean, it had everything we needed. It is an older home and the doors in bedrooms and bathrooms were sliding doors with a hook lock. The beds were comfortable and lots of pillows. The back yard has a privacy fence which I did like. Trains passed through several times at night and woke us up.

This was probably the coolest home we have ever stayed at. We love older homes and this one exudes old-world charm. The road noise and train are not distracting when the doors are closed. The neighborhood was quiet and safe for us to walk our dogs at night. It had just about everything we could need. And our was responsive and friendly. We and our dogs loved it.

The house was clean & inviting. It was stocked well with everything from snacks, coffee, waters and all supplies needed! Close to town, however, the neighborhood was slightly sketchy and a little noisy from the train tracks near by and highway traffic. I would stay here again..

Easy check in. Host was very nice to work with. The sliding bedroom doors lifted out at the bottom, hard to contain pets or children. Owner was understanding and said she’d work on a fix for that. Other than that very quaint, historic house, clearly loved by the owner.

Disappointed! That is the best way I could describe our stay. First of all is noise. There is a 4 lane highway that runs directly behind the house, traffic noise, sirens etc. There are train tracks a short distance away, train horns all through the night. The back yard although fenced was unkept. The steps going out to the back yard are cracked, moldy and very slippery when wet. Outdoor furniture cushions were moldy and soiled. The brick patio was a hazard to walk across as tree roots have displaced most of the bricks. Finally the pictures of the interior were accurate except the furnishings are tired and worn. At one time this home was a beauty.

We really enjoyed our stay in Valdosta. The home itself has so much character and is clearly thoughtfully designed—there’s a lot to love about the space, from the layout to the overall vibe. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the house has a warmth that made us feel welcome. That said, there were a few details that seemed to be overlooked during the pre-arrival cleaning. Things like multiple nearly empty bottles of shampoo/conditioner that were no longer good and expired creamers in the fridge gave the impression that the space might not be fully reset between guests. While these are small things, they did stand out.Overall, I believe the host has created a truly lovely home, and with just a little more attention to upkeep and preparation, it could be an outstanding rental. I’d still recommend it for travelers who appreciate unique, character-filled stays and don’t mind a few imperfections.

The House itself was in terrible condition; it is literally rotting into the ground. Several floorboards throughout the home are corroding away while others are loose and/or misaligned. It’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. Moreover, the furniture (excluding beds) was horribly uncomfortable and in some cases, damaged. Trains run by this property at all hours (we were awoken four times throughout the night), and there is a country-western bar less than a block away that pumps bass and loud music into the home late into the night. We will never use VRBO again as a result of this awful experience. Images of the derelict property can be provided if needed. I sincerely recommend that this home be stricken from your list of available providers.

Really liked this distinguished older home with a fenced backyard. Very clean, nice bed linens etc. and nice kitchen. The large original doors in the hallway had been reset as sliding barn doors and they don’t latch or stay fully shut (my dog kept nudging my cousin’s door open and the bathroom door to visit us (yes he’s a Velcro dog). We didnt need to open windows, but if we’d wanted to, or worse, needed to in emergency, we couldn’t have because they’re caulked shut. That should be corrected. Overall positive impression of house and host.

We had a great stay here between days at Wild Adventure. So close to Downtown area and anything else you may need. Kids had a great time in the back yard and we felt safe knowing its fenced in. Old house but we enjoyed it very much.

The home is old and has lots of character and charm. It was clean and well decorated. So many chairs in the home. It’s does need some repairs but that’s to be expected with a house that old.

The heat pump quit working Tuesday evening. The house temperature dropped to 57* with 32* temperatures outside. At 12.50 (midnight) Tuesday p.m. I called Elena. Repair person came Wed. p.m., the warmth failed again Wed. night. 61* Repair person again Thursday morning because the temperature was only 66*. Overnight Thursday and Friday a.m. - only 65*. At that point I called and told Elena we were leaving. She has charged us for 14 days. We were there 5!! Guess we were supposed to be cold all the time and take cold showers in tubs that should have height and accessibility warnings.Even our dogs had coats on all day.
