Classic Wood-Lined Oceanfront Cottage with Easy Beach Access in Waldport!

Definitely will be coming back to stay here!!! Very happy with the fact the sheets and towels didn't have an overpowering smell of laundry soap. I do manage a motel so I'm very observant of cleanliness, and very ocd. The important areas were up to par! Bedding, bathrooms, kitchen! So job well done. I would say you would benefit with air purifier, definitely has a off smell. There was dog hair in areas bugs in basement stuck in cobwebs. Could use a solid dusting. We felt safe, beach access was amazing! Next time we will book our stay there much longer!! Thank you for the wonderful stay!!

Everything was great. We had an issue with the Wi-Fi instructions and the help desk solved our problem quickly. Great location, super easy access to the beach. Waldport is a nice beach community. Very relaxing space.

This cottage is very clean and cozy. Location was very nice for nearby attractions. One thing that we realized is the online photos are unreliable. The cottage appears to be closer to the beach than it actually is. There are three dunes to cross. Also because it is close to the public access, there were vacationers using the dunes as a bathroom which is disgusting. The homes are wedged together so that we had construction noise on one side all week and then when we thought we could relax on our last day the other neighbor was getting a full Saturday of loud landscapers blowing edging and mowing. A vacation cottage should go off the market when there is major construction next door and we found it very disappointing. So if you crave privacy and quiet, this is not the cottage for you.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and we love it as much as the 1st time. Amazing views, quick walk to the beach. Excited to come back.

The location and the views were fantastic! The upstairs bedroom was nice and the downstairs shower had amazing pressure. My only complaint was the carpet in the basement was stained and disgusting. So much so, that I bought a pair of slippers to wear in the house. Otherwise, it was a great rustic cabin with a lot to offer!

We were so stressed when we arrived at this beautiful home. Within an hour, we were calm and so happy in this lovely location. I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful beach retreat!

When we first drove up, saw the peeling paint & overgrown yard not a good first impression. Was very musty smelling at first, but we’re able to air out upstairs rooms. 2nd bedroom was in the basement, very musty & damp; cement floor with rugs that smelled of pet urine. Shower curtain was flimsy so water drained onto floor. Grill was stored in basement bedroom and since we didn’t have access to garage had to be put in front entryway after using it. Bathroom upstairs shower doors leaked onto floor. Big bay windows for great views of the ocean & sunsets. Short 5 minute walk to the beach. Great deck to sit & enjoy being outdoors.

It was exactly what we were expecting based on the description, which was nice! Great location with quick and easy access to the beach. House was well equipped and very cozy!

The property has a wonderful location adjacent to the beach. Though clean, the home smells of pet urine. Rugs and comforters reeked. Kitchen is bare bones and the furniture is very dated. Not worth the price.
