Stayed Feb 6, 2025We had an excellent stay during Super Bowl. The price and location was EXCELLENT. The location is convenient to a lot of restaurants and nightlife. The home was as pictured. It was very clean and well stocked. The shower was amazing. They had the best shower head and warm water. The beds were comfortable and clean. The place was just as pictured on the photos. The owner was very attentive and responded quickly. The only con is parking. There is no dedicated parking for this home. There is ample street parking, however if you want to park close to the home you have to be strategic with your coming and going. Overall great stay!

Stayed May 7, 2026This was a wonderful choice! The location couldn’t be beat- it is in the lower garden district. It was almost a 15 min walk or car ride to most areas- very convenient. It is a quiet, safe neighborhood. The house is clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable. The one downside is you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the bathroom, other bedroom, the laundry room, and back patio- but we made it work- definitely not a deal breaker. There are a few restaurants within close walking distance. We Ubered everywhere or walked. Robert, the host was kind and communicative. They have a guest book that has a lot of good information in it- that we didn’t find until the end of day 2- so I made sure I put it out in the open and they have a few brochures in the kitchen. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed May 4, 2026The apartment looked exactly like the pictures. The location was perfect a short walk to the WWII museum our primary destination. The host was always prompt in answering any questions that arose. The best part that there was nothing, I mean nothing, to do on check-out. I have always wondered why we are paying cleaning fees but have many tidy duties on the last day of our stay. It was a pleasant stay and I highly recommend this property

Great communication with host. Tons of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and local businesses nearby. Walk to the WWII museum.

Stayed Mar 29, 2026Great stay in the Classic New Orleans Victorian charmer! Enjoyed this charming typical NOLA place with its soaring ceilings and beautiful hardwood floors but modern kitchen and bathroom. Keep in mind that you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the next, which may not work for all groups though it was fine for our visit with our adult daughter for a few days. The location is conveniently located -- it's about a 30 minute walk to the French Quarter and 15 minutes or so further into the Garden District. French Trunk Coffee is basically next door, and I enjoyed a mani-pedi at the Spa Isbell across the street. This is a great spot for a New Orleans stay!

Stayed Mar 9, 2026This property was everything I have ever wanted! This spacious, historic home has been lovingly maintained, with every gleaming detail a delight. Impeccably clean, tastefully designed, the host has thought of everything! Communication even prior to our stay was timely, gracious and helpful. During the stay our host was always available and so very kind and generous! The location is ideal - a quiet, safe area across from a school with coffee shops, boutiques, eateries as well as friendly neighbors. An 8 min walk to the WWII museum, a short walk to the streetcar on St. Charles, a bus stop across the street. Even an Uber ride to the French Quarter was only 15 mins or less (depending on traffic). A coded door allowed us to safely arrive, depart and come and go with ease. We especially loved sitting on the shaded front veranda. Both my son and I hope to return again and plan on making this “our home” in NOLA. By far the best rental experience I’ve ever had.

Stayed Feb 3, 2026We were in town for a conference at the conference center and this property was perfect. Although not necessarily walking distance for an early morning and late evening conference, the location was great. The property was very clean and very cute. Of note, you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other, which could be an issue for some guests. However, it was absolutely fine for us and there was plenty of privacy. The owner was very responsive and offered excellent insight for our trip. I would highly recommend!

Stayed May 27, 2025My coworker friend and I needed a place to stay that was somewhat near a conference. We had decided to go last min and were worried we wouldn’t find a nice place. We chose this due to proximity and price. First, it was very affordable! Second, we were absolutely shocked by how adorable it was. Even cuter than photos. It was extremely clean and they had everything there and ready for your stay such as coffee pods and creamer, they even had shampoo, body wash and conditioner. There is a washer and dryer available to use. There is a sweet front porch and a nice little back courtyard. It was only a few feet away from French Truck coffee where they remembered our orders every morning and the coffee is amazing. There are numerous restaurants within a half mile radius. I wish more people would talk about bed comfort in reviews. I need a soft bed for my old bones. These beds were a medium firm but I slept very well and comfortably. The owners are friendly and easy to get a hold of. I would highly recommend this rental. Only thing you should pay attention to in listing is that you walk through one bedroom to get to the bathroom and then to the next bedroom. This was fine for my friend and I because we have similar schedules. Also, the bathroom door has a lovely clear film but it doesn’t offer tons of privacy if you need that. However, bedroom doors can be closed on either side making privacy pretty easy to manage. We absolutely loved our stay and I would book this again any time!

Stayed Apr 9, 2025First off the property was just as pictured, beautiful. The location was great for us, easy access to the Streetcar which took us down to the French Quarter several times. The weather was so beautiful we actually ended up walking down there a couple of times, about 1.5 miles. The French Coffee Truck just a few doors down was a nice treat every morning. Several restaurant options just a few feet away, so staying in definitely would not be a problem! If we make it back to NOLA, I hope to stay here again!

Stayed Jan 7, 2025We stayed in January with unseasonably cold weather. As to be expected with a older place, it was drafty with hot and cold spots, but available space heater helped. Should have guessed but it is a shotgun house meaning you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other, which was a bit inconvenient. Great kitchen and the single bathroom has an updated walk-in shower, but it is very small. Only street parking, which was difficult to find near the house at times (occasionally had to park up to 2 blocks away).
