Robin Hill, cloistered in a seaside setting, her exceptional beauty rests atop of a hill in York Cliff's neighborhood, overlooking Cape Neddick Beach, and Nubble Lighthouse beyond. Nestled along the most scenic road in all of Maine, according to Down East Magazine, this cottage boasts five bedrooms, four full baths (one is outside, off of the deck.) In the spring, summer and fall, there is a small cabin on the property that is available that has a full and a twin bed which provides accommodation to sleep 14. This property is a perfect location to rent weekly in the summer or anytime during the year for long weekends, family gatherings, holiday celebrations, executive stays, wedding party guest quarters, and more. This home is a one minute walk to the beach (200 yards) and the Cape Neddick Lobster Pound. Robin Hill has easy access to all of York's activities including the viewing of the rich historic homes, fine dining, seafood restaurants, sailing, beach going, antiquing, amusements, live music, golfing, horseback riding, hiking on Mount Agamenticus and a five minute drive to Ogunquit's Perkin's Cove, the Ogunquit Play House and the rich cultural downtown area. The Cape Neddick's Nubble Light House is just a 5 minute drive from Robin Hill. It is thought to be the most romantic lighthouse in all of America and is indeed the most photographed.
At Robin Hill, you will find an authentic Maine cottage. The kitchen has wood floor and cabinets, granite counter tops, and painted wooden post and beams on the ceilings, a reminder of an era gone by. This kitchen opens to a more casual dining nook, with a table for four, and a pellet stove. Additionally, there is an island bar that sits three. Walking through French doors, the guest enters the dining room. A beautiful trestle table for 8 is in the center of the room with extra seating.
The living room has shelves full of books, and a view of Cape Neddick Beach. The lounge is a delightful area to sit and listen to music at the bar. This room has a lively vibe with a stereo. The family room has a relaxed, traditional spirit taken from the inspiration of Robin's classic revival architecture. There is a large, flat screen television. The couch is a pull out queen sofa-bed.
An airy hallway provides a simple passageway to the second floor bedrooms. There are two staircases leading to the upstairs. The master bedroom has a king bed and offers views of the beach. In the next bedroom there are two twin beds and a door leading out to a balcony. The remainder of the additional three bedrooms have a queen and 2 double beds and will offer sanctuary to your family and friends. There are four full bathrooms on the first and second floors. The second floor has two verandas that over look the billowing one acre yard and the ocean. The first floor has two outside porches, one is open and one is screened-in.

We had a wonderful stay here with extended family. The house is beautiful and in a lovely setting, it's a really nice area. We had more than enough room to spread out and relax and with 10 people staying there we never felt crowded. The house is well stocked with everything you need, and having beach chairs available to use was a big help. The owner is very nice and responded to any questions we had. We were even able to get in a little early our first day which was great. Overall we really enjoyed the house and our time there.
The home was spacious and very livable. We all enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch for a morning coffee or night time games.
A spacious house in a great location. Old house charm with all the modern amenities. The yard is fantastic for family games. The grill and the outdoor pot-bellied stove are great for outdoor grilling and making s'mores. A great place for a family summer vacation.
Robin Hill was a delightful place to vacate with ten adults, two school age kids, 2 toddlers and 2 dogs. Perfectly located in Cape Neddick, it offered the best of York Beach, York and Ogunquit. Don was the most gracious of hosts and we had plenty of space to gather together as well as find a quiet spot when needed. A wonderful vacation was had by all.
We had a great stay at this charming historical home. Don and Katie were extremely helpful and made our stay very enjoyable . We had a family Sunday brunch for 30+ people on the lawn. It is a beautiful location, We would highly recommend staying here. We hope to be able to return for a future stay!!
Very nice well equipped older mansion. Huge well manicured property with ocean view. We brought our grown children and grand children, all had a wonderful relaxing time. The beach is not as crowed as the other public beaches and wonderful for the grand kids with its sandy bottom and small waves. Definitely would return. Cheap isn’t ever good and good is not cheap, We got our moneys worth with a life long memories that were made here………. US Army retired
Great location - every day during our stay, our kids (and Weimaraner) enjoyed the short walk to the beach for swimming, playing with our dog, tidal pool exploration, and sea kayaking (2 adult and 2 child kayaks are at the property). A rocky beach was another short walk away which ended up being a beautiful location to watch a storm roll in. It also served as a great starting point for restaurants and shops in Kittery, York, Ogunaquit, and beyond. The sea breeze at night was beautiful. And the large yard allowed plenty of room for the kids and dog to play late into the evening. The house is dated but had all the essentials to make our trip very enjoyable.
Location was ideal for walking to the beach.
Beautiful property! We loved our stay at Robin Hill. It was very clean and full of charm, we felt extremely comfortable throughout our stay. Don was friendly and accommodating, communication with him was effortless.
Staying at the Robyn Hill house in York, ME was a wonderful experience. The house is charming and cozy and the host, Don, is both helpful and kind. The house had everything we needed, was beautifully decorated and the furniture and beds were very comfortable. As a host, Don was attentive and informative and provided us with answers to all our questions. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We highly recommend.
