Classic Island beach house just steps from the ocean - The Salty Seahorse

This place had everything we needed for a girls’ getaway and 50th birthday celebration! So convenient to beach and restaurants!

We loved the cottage and all the amenities and the location was perfect for all of us. However, I could not give cleanliness an excellent rating because the outside maintenance was lacking. Our “neat Knick” friend was so bothered with the shrubs needing trimming that he went out and bought some shears and proceeded to trim them?. Leaves were all over the side area so we had no desire to gather out there?. Please take care of the outside and the place will just about be perfect!

We loved our stay! The quick walk to the beach was a bonus. The house had everything we needed. Loved having an ice maker and filtered water. You won’t be disappointed if you stay at this little gem of a place.

My family and I have been renting houses on St. Simons for 15+ years. First time at Salty Seahorse. Hands down, one of our best trips. The property location can't be beat. The house is clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and perfect for family or friends. Easy walk to the beach and best restaurants on St. Simons. The hosts were extremely nice throughout the process and check in was seamless. Definitely would recommend.

Location was perfect and the ice maker was amazing! Everything was comfortable and clean. Bunk bed bedroom is right off the master bedroom, so definitely something to consider when booking. Only negative thing - we now have to upgrade our shower at home to the one that's in the master bathroom! Thanks for a great vacay!

Well stocked and nicely furnished! Everything was clean and well maintained with plenty of room for a family. The cottage was situated on a lovely tree lined road just two short blocks from the beach. Easy bike ride into town or walkable to restaurants nearby. We had a wonderful week!

We loved this property and it’s fabulous location! Could walk so many places and beautiful. Right by the beach. Love all the trees on the island, the biking and walkability. Gonna remember this property for next time.

Great location! Super cute house with plenty of room for our family of 5. Many well-thought touches as well! Loved having the bikes and beach chairs to use! Walking distance to the beach and several restaurants as well.
