Classic family bach experience, one minute to the beach

Your classic bach, takes you back to a better time. I enjoyed that there was no tv and plenty of games. Shower is great and awesome having 2 toilets. Thank you for your listing was great for our purpose-location

For our family visiting from Canada, the classic kiwi family bach was exactly what they wanted to experience. The two young boys especially loved the swing, and large outdoor area for water fights. Trees provided plenty of shade, and habitat for tuis. Easy and quick beach access was fantastic, and the warm outdoor shower was ideal for clean up after time at the beach. Sleepout provided 2 extra comfortable sleeping areas. Kitchen and laundry were very well set up, and outdoor seating under shade sail was lovely. A perfect family bach in a peaceful location.

We had such a beautiful stay at the bach. The host was absolutely amazing - so easy to contact, fast with replies, and she really went over and above to make sure everything was perfect for us. That level of care doesn't go unnoticed and we are truly grateful.The place had pretty much everything you could possibly need. There wasn't a tv , but honestly we didn't miss it at all - it was actually nice to switch off and just enjoy the surroundings and the peaceful atmosphere.If I had to mention one tiny thing (and it really is a small one), there was a slight musty smell when we first arrived, probably just needing a bit of airing out before guests arrive. As soon as we opened up all the doors and windows it disappeared and was absolutely fine.Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would happily stay there again. Nga mini nui for your hospitality and for making our stay comfortable and welcoming.

Host was on point with information, replies were prompt. Amenities were great, had everything we needed. Being close to the beach was excellent!Great for families with any aged children and or friends get together. Outside area was well organised and comfortable .

This was a lovely stay at an authentic NZ bach. It was super chilled and laid back. Beautiful location and the beach was at the end of the driveway. Really enjoyed our time here. Had lots of rooms to accommodate our family.

Lovely stay with our wee dog quiet and private location surrounded in lovely trees. Beds in the house are a little bit shaky other than that a tidy batch with all the essentials. Didn’t miss tv at all

The listing was for a old fashioned bach, which is what we were expecting, we arrived and the place smelled very musty and like there was a leak inside. The bach was very unclean inside and the gardens and trees down the ROW were also very untidy and overgrown. Im pretty sure we left it tidier than when we arrived that's for sure!!! Sorry guys if you are wanting to rent out your bach you really need to tidy it up a bit. The bach its self was very quaint and well equipped, it was nice hearing the ocean and the birds.

We loved this peaceful retreat especially being so near to our favourite beach. Ideal spot with lovely natural surroundings. Our two grandchildren loved the sleepouts when they came for the weekend. The new shower was brilliant. Outdoor shower very handy for rinsing off after being on the beach. Enjoyed sitting in the shade on comfy settee on decking. Would suit folk not looking for a modern holiday home and are happy to escape TV etc.
