edgartown, Massachusetts
Nicely appointed 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath in-town cape home with all the modern amenities. The house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac with deeded water access to the harbor. It’s a short walk (7-8 minutes) to the center of town.
The property is fenced in both the front and back yard, with a patio and grill and outdoor shower.
On on the main floor there is a large kitchen with breakfast alcove, dining room, living room, a den with access to back patio, a half bathroom along with a master king bedroom with its own full bathroom, On the second floor there are two bedrooms (a queen room and a bedroom with two twins) along with a full bathroom. On the ground floor there is a 4th bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower and a separate entrance.
This home exceeded every expectation- a wonderful experience! The house is comfortable as well as extremely well stocked with everything one needs to enjoy a vacation including glassware to every type of pot or pan that could be needed. It felt so homey that we didn’t want to leave when our week was over. The kitchen is a focal point - bright and cheery as is the sitting room. The home, which is larger than the pictures reflect has a beautiful backyard with chairs and tables and it was a beautiful place to sit outside and enjoy the flowers and the birds. The location was perfect too! The house is in easy walking distance of downtown Edgartown and close to the water. We enjoyed walking in both early and late as the area is beautiful and did not need to worry about traffic or parking! Finally, the owner was fully responsive when we reached out. Thank you for making our vacation a tremendous experience!
We were pleased with this house in just about every way. While the house may appear small in the photos, it is really quite large and it is impeccable. The interior is very tastefully decorated and the back yard is very private and charming. The rear sun-room and kitchen/dinette were full of light. We found the location to be great as well. It's about a 7-8 minute walk into Edgartown (and if you walk, we recommend taking the 50-foot dirt-path shortcut to the right of the neighbor's house) and just 3-4 minutes from the Katama Store and the bus route going down to South Beach. Being a little bit out of town an on a circle, the neighborhood is VERY private and quiet. Finally, the owner was very easy to deal with and helpful with recommendations on places to dine, where to rent a boat, etc. In fact, our only wish was for a pool to use, but that's just a preference of our family...
