Circa 1870 Oceanfront Home in Brant Rock - Commanding Views Of The Ocean

The home has a beautiful view of the ocean and the first floor bedroom was perfect for our mother. There was plenty of space for all family members. It is too bad that our favorite restaurant, Haddad's, is no longer open as it was within walking distance.

We had a great stay in this wonderful home. Excellent location with beautiful views, and easy to walk to many restaurants. The house was very clean and the management was quick to respond to any needs we had. Beds were comfortable, lots of comfy seating in the living room and loved sitting on the covered porch watching the seals in the water.

When we arrived we found clothes in the dryer, chicken in oven and one of the bedspreads upstairs had questionable brown stains on it. The grill was dirty and difficult to operate.On the positive side the view was beautiful, plenty of sleeping accommodations and the host was very quick to respond. The Caretaker Kevin was extremely helpful.

The house is very charming with a beautiful view of the ocean. We didn’t love the air conditioning situation as it is a lot of room units that were a little noisy. But overall it was a good place. Check in was easy. Linens and towels were clean. Plenty of room in the kitchen. We loved our time on the large front porch!

This house was perfect for my family! This house has a great 1st floor master with a full bath right outside the barn-style sliding doors. This was perfect for my Mom because of limited mobility and use of a walker. The three bedrooms upstairs were perfect for my family. This house will swallow a large family and provide them with room to spread out. This house has all the household amenities that you could need. This house will provide you with spectacular views from the family room and the upstairs master. There is nothing but ocean between you and the mornings rising Sun!

The house was great. Wonderful views. Within walking distance to a few restaurants. About a one hour easy drive to Boston.

Perfect for winter gathering—fireplace, good kitchen, lots of space for playing board games and hanging out, dramatic ocean views.

We have a lovely stay here. The house is quite large and has ample space for gathering. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The double beds count as sleeping two people, just to be aware of. The house is on the road right across from the ocean, and there isn’t a beach to walk on, but it is a short drive to a beach that is nice. But this did not take away from the beauty of the view and the lovely accommodations!

This house has plenty of room and the owners were prompt at answering a couple questions we had. Check in is at 4:00, but the cleaning crew wasn’t finished when we arrived. The house was clean but smelled heavy of Febreeze (nothing a few open windows couldn’t fix). Overall, the weekend was absolutely delightful. We would definitely come back!

Every fall my wife and another couple take a mini vacation to sight see and enjoy local restaurants and culture in the area. This year we chose the Massachusetts coast. We used the house for a base camp for day trips to Martha's Vineyard, Boston and Plymouth. The home and the surrounding area, were perfect, with local amenities just minutes away. The house was welcoming clean and quiet functional for travelers on the go. I highly recommend this property, check in and out were easy and convenient. 5 Star!!!

Though the property is older, it has a lot of charm, was very clean, and the owners were amazing with their communication. Loved listening to the ocean waves too. Would definitely book again if we ever come back to Boston!

Loved staying here to help balance the hustle if visiting Boston and the ability to reach Plymouth and Cape Cod easily. In easy walking distance from several restaurants, spectacular views and access to the shore added to the value. We’d stay here again!

This home was amazing. We enjoyed the front porch so much. Coffee in the morning watching the water. We had a wonderful time visiting with family and friends sitting out there. So many memories made this trip. It was fun to be back in Marshfield after moving away.

Nice house and location, plenty of room. The parking situation with 3-4 cars can be difficult and some of the lights need to be replaced other than that it was great. We had a good time staying there.

The host was very responsive and accommodated our day before reservation. It was a last minute family trip idea to visit Newport, Plymouth and Boston with family from abroad. The home fit our large group comfortably and was a great way to spend some quality time together. The water views were spectacular. We visited during early spring when not much was open but I am sure that during the summer months the area has more to offer. The caretaker of the home was especially helpful

My family was in town for a wedding and this house was perfect for us. Lots of room plus the porch is the best place to enjoy coffee. We watched the most seals I’ve seen in one place playing on the rock outcroppings. Just a very short walk down to lots of restaurants and the market.

Overall the house is tired, but view and house space was great and as described. Pros: -great location -close to restaurants -plenty of space -enough plates, glasses, silverware and towels for a group -bed linen was good quality and fresh Cons: -issues with lighting, flickering or just not working -issues with TVs -no hot tub (as per written description) -backyard was not safe for young children, piles of boards with nails and building trash/supplies to get in to Note: bring games, books, chairs for porch or beach as not supplied (3 chairs on porch) chairs with dining table way too heavy for average person to move.
