Location is critical when designing the perfect vacation, and this 3-bedroom home in Cincinnati, a.k.a. Queen City, couldn’t be better!

The Space:

Located in the historic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, you’ll be just one mile north of downtown and mere minutes to all of the area’s hottest attractions. Known for its trendy restaurants, eclectic boutiques and specialty stores, and vibrant nightlife, this area is the height of the Cincy scene. Popular Washington Park, just 6 minutes south of the home, is an urban oasis with a large event lawn showcasing movies, live music, festivals, and other events throughout the year. For even more music or theater, reserve your seat at the Music Hall to see the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra play live or catch a performance from the Cincy Shakespeare Company. Day or night, Over-the-Rhine has something to keep you busy and entertained, and Cincy Comfort Retreat puts you right in the middle of it all. Closer to the home, you’re surrounded by your choice of outdoor parks and scenic areas. Inwood Park is a short walk away, a recreation area with a lake, wading pool, kid’s play structure, and large pavilion. Plan a day trip to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, one of the best zoos in the entire country and just 7 minutes north from your front door. You can be in downtown Cincinnati in under 10 minutes where you’ll be met with your choice of art and cultural museums, historic landmarks, and the scenic Ohio River waterfront where you can spend all day taking leisurely strolls along the river trails.

Back at the home, you’ll find updated spaces with enough room for the whole group to spread out and find their own private sanctuary. Step through the front door into the open living room where a comfortable sofa and armchair await, along with a large, mounted smart TV serving up all your favorite show and movies. Continue on into the dining room where you’ll find a stylish table and chair set for 6, illuminated by a modern light fixture. From there, you’ll discover the chic kitchen with stainless steel appliances and glossy countertops, a large island offering an additional 5 high-top barstool seats perfect for casual bites or enjoying a spread of afternoon hors d’oeuvres. You’ll find everything you need here to whip up delicious homecooked meals whenever the mood strikes.

This home comfortably sleeps 10 guests between 3 private bedrooms.

This was our first visit to Cincinnati, coming from a rural northern Ohio area. We arrived late at night, the neighborhood looked a little sketchy, but it turned out to be a nice location. Short drives to downtown, to University of Cincinnati, to the zoo, and To Riverbend Music Center (leave early for this one as traffic to get there gets backed up). The house was exactly as pictured and described. We loved the open layout on three floors. Two driveway parking spaces, there is on street parking, on a first come basis. We did not have a problem finding a space on the street. You walk up stairs to the entrance, which opens to a living room dining room and kitchen area, upstairs there are two large bedrooms with their own bathrooms and laundry. Ground floor has one bathroom and its own bathroom. Loved the layout. Communication with the property manager was easy and quick. Thank you for making our first trip to Cincinnati a great one!

Lots of space for sleeping and hanging out. We had great communication with the host whenever we had questions or issues. Neighborhood felt safe and was very close to lots of things like grocery stores and fun activities.

Lovely place to stay with a group of friends. Each bedroom has its own full bath room. The kitchen and living room are open and spacious. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The only issue we had was there was no can opener and no toaster.

We came to visit the Ark and Creation Museum. It was a good location to get those places as well as just 20 min to the airport to pick people up. This was a lovely house with cute touches- like little silk flowers in the kitchen and bedrooms. The long main floor with open concept was great for hosting a large group of people. Upstairs bedrooms were spacious and the home was clean. Being a 3-story house makes it hard to regulate airflow, so upstairs was warm and basement was cold. The neighborhood looks a little sketchy when you drive in, but we had no issues while we were there. Our family had a wonderful stay.
