Cielo Mar | 4BR Oceanfront Escape + Rooftop

Was a nice large home on the beach… Communication with hosts was very pleasant and they were very responsive with questions that I had…The home itself the lacked lots of things to accommodate, especially larger families…Cooking pans… In terrible condition… some were not even usableAlso, not enough cooking utensils… had to improvise quite a bit… made it very difficult to prepare large meals… There were no kitchen washcloths….Toaster did not work properly… did not report because I did not want to bother or be bothered…Upstairs doors to balconies neither one locked… Blind on upstairs door was not in working condition…. leaving a partial view from the outside of the upstairs where my grandsons had to sleep…..I personally think it is a nice home, but I think it needs a going over with some minor repairs and some extra touches to welcome guests…Example is one box of Kleenex for a four bedroom house…Bikes in the garage that were not for guest use…Could not fit our vehicle in the garage as we had a large SUV… Very hard to park and the neighbor next-door had blocked us in a couple of times….There were towels in the downstairs linen closets that were not even folded. They were just tossed in there… Just some of the small things.A little TLC would go a long way to make the guests feel more welcome.For the amount of money spent and the amenities that were available I would say that I was slightly disappointed…

A stunning great room overlooking the beach. Couldn’t ask for more.

Great time with 6 adults, a 1-year-old, and a 2-year-old! Being right on the beach was perfect for a family with small children. We were also close to many great places for lunch, dinner, and drinks, so we didn't need the cars. The kitchen worked well for the few times we cooked Parking a mid-size SUV in the garage was easy; finding a place for the full-size SUV on the street wasn't as easy but it worked out. I would go back

The house is everything as advertised! Perfect for our multigenerational family. Easy access to the beach! Ample space and seating on ground level patio. We especially enjoyed the fire pit at night! The second level with the collapsing sliding doors brought the outside in with an incredible view of the ocean and beach! The kitchen has almost any appliance you would want. The living area is spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend! We are already booked for next summer

We had a group of 7 people from 9 to 80 to celebrate both Thanksgiving and an 80th birthday. The house is beautiful, location is great. However, there was NO hot water for our entire stay. We did contact Blue Water and they got 2 different repair people out on the same day, during a holiday weekend no less, however, they did not fix the problem. It is hard for a group of 7 people to go 5 days without any warm water. Other than the freezing cold showers, it was great.

Great property with an amazing location. It was perfect for our family.

We stayed here for a long weekend getaway and it was everything we were hoping for and more. The open living room and sliding doors were beautiful. The views were spectacular. We would just sit on the balcony and listen to the waves crash and watch dolphins jump. The house has everything you need and is in the perfect location right next to Pacific Beach and close to Mission. Checking in and out is very simple as well. Great spot and hope to be back next summer.

Exactly as pictured. Quick walk to restaurants. Feels private even though it's on the boardwalk. Great for morning walks and sunsets. Only issue is hot water runs out faster than you can rinse your hair (had to use the sink). Overall, fantastic!
