Welcome home! This duplex is the perfect getaway for a group! Nestled in a beachfront neighborhood in Virginia Beach, this spacious home offers lots of space, great amenities, and easy access to the beach.

Situated right near the water in Virginia Beach, you’ll be walking distance to the bay, Bouy 44 restaurant, with grocery stores and more dining options a short drive away.

GUEST ACCESS

The entire home is yours to enjoy! Please note this is half of a duplex and shares a wall. Also, please only park on the right side of the driveway, as the left side is for the neighbor's use. If interested in booking the sister unit as well, please ask about availability!

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

There are cameras on the exterior of the home. They are motion-activated, record video and audio, and are active during reservations. There is also a decibel monitoring device located in the home. This is a smart device that measures decibel levels only and allows us to respond to extremely loud and sustained volumes. It does NOT record conversation; it only measures decibel levels. This helps us to avoid unauthorized parties. Our goal is for our guests and neighbors to both have an enjoyable experience!

ADDITIONAL RULES:

*No smoking allowed (weed or cigarettes) - evidence will incur a $500 minimum fine. Please smoke away from the home, away from windows or doors, and dispose of cigarette butts properly.

*Any visitors must also be listed in the guest count. A minimum fine of $50 per person per night will apply for any undisclosed guests. The city is strict about maximum occupancy, including visitors, and we cannot allow more than the maximum guest count at any one time.

*Please observe a 9 p.m.- 8 a.m. quiet hour for our neighbors. It is our utmost priority to continue to operate short-term rentals for years to come. Noise violations are taken seriously and will receive one courtesy warning before removal without repayment for nights unspent.

*Our place is not for parties. $500 minimum fine for parties. A party is defined as any more than the maximum number of occupants in the home at any one time (the guest maximum can be found in the listing). No refund will be given for nights unspent if we are forced to terminate the reservation due to a party. We want you to have a great time with up to the maximum number of guests in the house, including any visitors. This is a residential area, and our neighbors rely on us not to disrupt the community. We want to continue to do short-term rentals for a long time, so please help us respect our neighbors.

*Please note that while the home is cleaned very thoroughly between stays and air filters are changed regularly, we may allow dogs at the home. Those with severe allergies will need to consider our home’s suitability for their unique needs.

*No refunds will be given for COVID-19 or weather-related cancellations, including hurricanes. Please consider purchasing trip insurance that covers any unforeseen circumstances. Please note that during hurricane season, our area is prone to inclement weather.

*$75 per hour charge for not checking out on time. Please communicate if you need more time. If we can accommodate, we will not charge a fee.

*If our property has a grill, please clean it after use to avoid an extra $75 grill cleaning charge.

*Ice makers and fireplaces are an extra amenity, and no refunds will be given if they are not functioning properly.

*To maintain a fair and comfortable environment for all guests, we ask that utilities (electricity, water, gas, etc.) be used responsibly. If there is evidence of excessive utility consumption beyond normal use for the duration of your stay, we reserve the right to charge additional fees for the excess usage. These charges will be calculated based on actual costs incurred and will be billed to the guest.

*No paper towels or wipes (including flushable wipes) are allowed down the drains. If a plumber needs to fix an issue caused by the aforementioned items and reasons, the cost will be billed back to the guest.

*Guest agrees to complete a third-party encrypted ID verification independent of the platform booked on for security purposes. If the guest does not complete the verification or the host is not comfortable with the screening results, the host may cancel the reservation with a full refund to the guest.

*Any cleaning or maintenance issues must be addressed to the host. We must be able to attempt to fix the issue before offering refunds. If an issue is not addressed during the stay, no refunds will be provided.

*Please note lawn care and trash service may come on the premises during your stay. Days and times vary; please inquire if you need more specifics on when to expect these services to take place during your stay.

*Stays over 60 days will require a cleaning every 30 days, included in your booking fee.

*An application, screening, signed lease, and deposit are required for 90+ day rentals-please inquire for more details. Bookings over 90 days are brokered by Sojourn Realty.

*Please note that we do not provide shoveling or snow removal. Use caution in case of these situations, as we are not to be held liable.

NON-PET FRIENDLY HOUSE:

*This home is not pet-friendly. Any undisclosed pets on the property will incur a $300 fine plus any damages or extra cleaning charges. We do ask that service animals be disclosed, and emotional support animals need to have valid documentation prior to the start of stay.

    We had a wonderful time at Chic’s beach! The house is huge - lots of space for everyone to enjoy. The views are so beautiful and it’s really close to the beach.

    WE DO NOT RECOMMEND I’ve been trying to speak to a supervisor for a week and no one will contact me. I’ve never left a review like this in my life, but I’ve also never encountered rodents inside a property. I have video of my sister catching a mouse from the sink and taking it outside. We encountered multiple rodents in the kitchen on multiple days. I’m disappointed that management has had over a week to contact me to reconcile this experience. The wifi was unusable. Do not use this property if you need Internet. We stayed for seven days so you can imagine the data we all had to use. We couldn’t even get streaming services to run on the television. Icing on the cake was a shower did not drain. My sister had to shower in a pool of water. I thought this location and property would be something we would never forget. I was right about that but for the wrong reasons. I would have rather shared this privately with a supervisor but unfortunately I’ve contacted them multiple times and received not one call back. I’ve been home for 7 days and I’m still waiting to hear from them.

    Great place! Location close to beach and restaurants within walking distance. Property manager was AWESOME. We has a noise issue with the neighbors and it was promptly resolved.

    This is a clean, large rental with the beach a short walk away. The Master suite is spacious. There is a 2nd King bedroom with attached bath. And The ground floor has a great family bedroom with a king bed and two double beds that makes a family with small children very cozy. The kitchen is nice but it is not stocked for major cooking. No staples such as salt and pepper or oil are supplied so be sure to bring your own. The ice maker did not work and I didn't like using ice cube trays with the mention of new appliances in the listing. Overall it is a very good space. I couldn't give it a five but it is probably a 4.5 rather than a 4.
