Stayed Aug 2, 2025This our third year staying at the Bodensee and we love it. It’s a great location- on a quiet street with a 5 minute walk to the beach. The house is always clean and comfortable. It’s the perfect spot for our family to stay at Moody Beach.

Stayed Aug 25, 2025We fell in love with this Maine house! Perfect distance to the beach, and everything you’d possibly need is included. Home is very well kept and clean. We used the fire pit every night to make smores. We truly felt like we were on vacation and look forward to returning soon.

Stayed Jul 12, 2025My wife and I just completed our third year staying at Seaside Serenity/Bodensee in Wells. This truly beautiful home is furnished to vacation perfection ! On a scale of 1-10, the cleanliness of this house is a 20. The location provides very unique access to Ogunquit, Wells and Kennebunkport. If you love the Ogunquit summers and beach as much as we do, Bodensee really is your perfect summer place !!!

Stayed Jul 13, 2024The house was adorable! We used the outside porch and patio every day. Perfect size for the 5 of us. Location was perfect. We walked to the beach at night and just a short drive to the paid parking for the daytime. Centrally located in between all our favorite restaurants and shoppes. Thank u so much for letting us stay in your home! We will definitely keep u on our list for future vacation stays.

Stayed Jul 8, 2023My wife and I had a truly pleasurable 1 week stay at Bodensee in early July, 2023. The house was in immaculate condition, and is a very well equipped vacation home ! The fantastic location provides perfect access to Ogunquit, Wells & Kennebunkport. Hannah, Daniele & the Salt and Shine Team are total professionals. Rent one of their properties, you'll be glad you did !!

Stayed Aug 6, 2022The house was perfect for our family - it was clean, bright and comfortable. Loved the decor. We spent a lot of time sitting on the porch outside reading and then moving into sun room after dark. The house is located on a quiet street which was an extra bonus. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. The only down side was that the Public Access Way #1 is a private beach that you can not use. Meaning you can walk the private beach but you can not sit on the beach. The PUBLIC beach is farther down but isn't really walking distance if you are carrying a bunch of beach stuff.

Stayed Jul 2, 2022Upon entering the house, we immediately felt relaxed. The home was warm, bright and welcoming. Love is in the details, which the owners obviously understood when decorating and supplying the home with the necessities. Just drop your bags and take the short walk to Moody Beach. The neighborhood is secluded and quiet. We loved sitting by the fire pit at night. The location of the house is perfect…far enough away from the crowds…yet close enough to enjoy all Ogunquit has to offer. We can’t wait to return again next year.
