Stayed Aug 21, 2025Property is conveniently located next to shopping and Arts district. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Lake Michigan beaches. Possibly the best equipped rental unit I have been in in a long time. very spacious.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025We walked to many restaurants, bars, and it was a good area to walk the dogs with shade in many places. Although the property cleaners had not gotten there before we checked in, Monica made it right and got a cleaner out ASAP. We had a great time with family.

Stayed Jul 2, 2025The townhome was beautifully renovated with a modern touch, and we loved the spacious layout. The water pressure was fantastic, the dishwasher was a great, and having smart TVs in both bedrooms and the living room was a nice touch for relaxing after a day out.The kitchen was well-stocked with quality utensils, knives, and plates, making it easy to prepare meals. We also appreciated the grill in the back with all the necessary tools for outdoor cooking (didn't use) but nice to have the option. However, there were a few downsides. We encountered some ants in the kitchen and the kids' bedroom, which was a bit of a nuisance. Additionally, the noise from the upstairs neighbors was quite disruptive at night due to insufficient soundproofing.Lastly, while the property itself was lovely, the surrounding area didn't quite match our vacation expectations as it felt a bit rundown and wasn't quite our vibe. Michigan City has a much higher poverty rate thank the rest of the country and that impacted our experience. This was especially true at the local Washington Beach Park. It costs 20 to park there. We also went to the Dunes and paid 12 to get in and had a much nicer experience. Basically the difference between grocery shopping at Jewel vs Walmart in terms who is at the store and how well it is maintained. Overall, The Blarney has a lot to offer in terms of comfort and amenities, but there are a few areas for improvement.

Stayed Feb 28, 2025We went for a girls shopping/winter getaway weekend. It is nicely redone with just enough beds and baths for the group. We really liked the feel and it had the amenities we expected/needed for the weekend. We really enjoyed our stay.
