Chic 2BR Oceanside Condo W/Ocean Views

Nice unit, comfortable, front patio nice , however not very quiet . The noise from the trains passing by was very loud and annoying. Lots of traffic, cars and motorcycles. Would not stay again. The host (Carol) was very nice and accommodating. Future ads for this rental property should include pictures of the train tracks next to the property. And a noise warning.

The accommodations are great! All is very clean, and the AC works amazing! Highly recommend!

Condo was exactly as it was described. Perfect that it is so close to the beach.

This is possibly the cleanest vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in. We had such a lovely time, we want to make it an annual trip. It was convenient to the beach, close to great food and shopping options, and Carol was amazingly responsive.

Carol was always available to help make our stay better. Will be coming back!

Carol the host was super helpful and nice. The residence was exactly as described. I would absolutely stay here again. Besides the trains, which can easily be drowned out by a fan, it was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The shower pressure was amazing, parking was easy, location was great. So close to the beach but also close to shopping. Thank you Carol, this booking was one of the only things that went well on our trip.

Great stay. We had 2 kids with us (3 and 9 months) and the train really wasn’t bad. Would definitely consider staying here again in the future. It had everything we needed and the beach was a few minutes within walking distance.

Fantastic location, literally steps from the beach. Carol is a very nice lady and keeps a very cozy and clean property.

Loved our stay! Was a true home away from home - comfortable, clean, and well stocked with everything you could need for an effortless stay. Our host Carol was quick to respond to questions, greeted us after our arrival and was very friendly.

The condo was not clean and did not look like the pictures provided.

Wonderful place. Super close to the beach and very convenient location. Super cute two bedroom apartment, very clean, easy access, and the owner was very nice and was easy to talk to. Would be staying here again the next time I stay in Oceanside.

The unit was comfortable and convenient. However there were features in the unit were not working properly or were in disrepair.

Property was clean and close to everything. Perfect for the 3 of us! Carol was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. She even gave us a great heads up for a great taco Tuesday spit. Definitely would stay again!

Really great place to stay! A little loud because of proximity to the train, but wasn’t much of a problem for me or my partner.

Short walk from the beach and close to plenty of food options nearby. Older but Very comfortable, clean place with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host (Carol) was amazing at checking in and making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Only negative, although out of the host’s hands, was the limited parking due to construction across the street, and the train noise due to the close proximity to the tracks which we knew beforehand and Carol mentioned as well. Otherwise a nice place and we will book again for a future trip to the area.

Our hostess was so kind and helpful. She gave us tips on places to go. Shopping, eating. She gave us freedom to enjoy the property she created. Not just for us but all of her guests. The ocean is so close you can hear the waves when the tide reaches the shore. During low tide you can stroll down the sandy beach. I walked down the strand and had breakfast near the pier. Very comfortable and Carol was so nice! Beautiful beach view, thankful for the laundry room. We were visiting my son who is stationed at Camp Pendleton, so I was able able to do all of his laundry for him before we left. Condo was very comfortable and the courtyard was so peaceful.

Carol was extremely accommodating to any of our needs. We especially like the enclosed patio with the larger table where we enjoyed our coffee in the morning and played games in the afternoon. It is only about a block walk to the water where we experience the sunset we definitely recommend This Property. They only caveat was the fact that it was a two story condo which meant steps. But let’s face it most of the condos in that area are two stories and have stairs.

The location of the condo is the big draw. We walked to the beach at sunset each night. The downside was being right next to three railroad tracks that sped by hourly.

The place was well stocked and clean. The host was easy to get a hold of and very responsive. Great place to stay that's close to the beach and a ton of amenities.

Can’t wait to return. Carol is such a dynamic woman! We’ve never stayed at a place that had every amenity you could ask for! Carol even brought over some couch blankets so we could snuggle and watch TV. Yes the train did go by, We put on white noise for the first two nights and one night we forgot to turn it on and realized we didn’t need it.Walking distance: The Cup for coffee and a small market next door. Brewery’s and wine spots you can walk too! We walked 1/2 a block down to the beach each night to see the sunset.

Myself, sister and daughter enjoyed our stay. Kitchen well stocked and clean. Adding kitchen shears woud be helpful. Comfortable beds. Large closets. Great Location near beach and Oceanside center but much quieter than center. Carol was so helpful in letting us know where to purchase groceries, and restaurants nearby. Having washer and dryer on site so convenient. Recommend this condo highly.

This condo in South Oceanside is really cute and very clean. It was only a couple of blocks from the beach and close to the harbor and restaurants. The beds and pillows are comfortable and there is A/C in every room. The bedrooms got a nice breeze when the windows were open. They are also nice and bright, the room darkening curtains were appreciated. The only con is that you can hear the dinging of the train. (Not too bad with the windows shut) But anyone familiar with this area knows if you are going to stay this close to the beach, north of Oceanside all the way south to Downtown San Diego that you will hear it. But you come here to vacation, not sit in a condo all day, I don't really see it as too much of an issue. FYI- the train doesn't blow its whistle at night. Both of the bedrooms were upstairs. There is a full bathroom upstairs and a half-bath downstairs which is very convenient. The washer and dryer is in a common space for community use. The kitchen has all the basic supplies and even some refillable water bottles that we put to good use. I felt that was a thoughtful touch. The host has cozy blankets in the family room and a large couch with plenty of seating. Out front is a nice patio set with an umbrella and a BBQ. The type that uses charcoal. The only thing not in abundance was beach supplies. There are some available to everyone but it is first come first serve. We had our own, it was not an issue for us. I would rent here again. We enjoyed our stay.

Carol's place worked very well for us while visiting our son and family in Carlsbad. It is clean, neat, well appointed and a short walk away from the beach. We will stay again. Thank you!

It was okay - yes, you are within walking distance to a beach at this stay; however there is not a “sandy” area to sit and watch or walk on said beach - that was a downfall for me personally. There also was a very noisy and active train right beside the unit that would run all day long (it was noted in the description, but it was hard to ignore)

There is no hot tub on the property as was listed in the description. There was a lot of clutter on the back patio. The front patio is right next to the road. There is construction happening across the street that was not disclosed in the description. The train crossing alarm was multiple times each hour and was very unpleasant. The neighborhood did not feel safe to us. We left and found different accommodations after we checked in because we were uncomfortable.

All good except no working washer or dryerOtherwise clean and safe area.

Property is decent and is only a couple of blocks from the beach which is very convenient. Property owner is nice and is very responsive. She offered us early check-in and late check out without even asking for it. Only thing to watch out for the proximity of the property to the rail road. Expect train siren and noise at night when you are sleeping.

Overall, stay was good. Cute place. Had plates, utensils, TP and papertowels. Beds were comfortable. No jacuzzi as listed. No toiletries or basic kitchen supplies i.e. oil, foil or baggies which some places offer/some places dont. Light in bathroom didnt work.

Carol's place served us well. She is friendly and easy to communicate with. The half bath on the main floor was an added plus to the full bath and two bedrooms upstairs. It is walkable to the ocean, and restaurants. The train can be loud, as described, but we knew this, and it did not bother us at all. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to cook. The patio out front is great for 4-6 people. There is construction on a property across the street, but that seems to be the case everywhere in Oceanside. This was our second stay in this complex, and we would come back again for sure because of the location and affordability, and the responsiveness of the host.

Our host Carol was great to us. She was responsive and very kind Lady. The Condo was everything we requested.

We were in town for a program at the Altavista Gardens … The stay in Oceanside was perfect… It was near friends near the venue and comfortable and accommodating. The area has very walkable.

Property and check in experience was great. Very clean and great location.

The train goes by often, like every hour but you get used to the noise. Great food and shops near by. Not super toddler friendly because of the stairs and decor.

This place was clean and comfortable. I knew about the trains when I booked but did not expect quite so many.

Wow what a vacation! Oside was amazing, the weather, people, beach and restaurants. I loved the thursday market and stumblimg on the surf competition. We will be back!

Carol was very responsive. Obviously, wanted to make sure we were happy. She got us in the place when the combo didn't work. We needed a place close to a certain location, so the location worked. And the price was reasonable. However, the place did not quite look like the pictures. There's a larger table (for 6) in this small space taking up quite a bit of area. There aren't two couches, just one L-shaped couch, quite low to the floor. There was a smell as we entered, somewhat musty. We fixed it by putting something over the drain in the upstairs shower. And the back courtyard is bit neglected looking with a washing machine sitting in the area.

Beautiful 2 bedroom condo, excellent location.
