Stayed Oct 4, 2025Great location for our visit to Acadia National Park. We could take the Island Express into the park instead of hunting for parking. We could walk everywhere in Bar Harbor. It was clean and comfortable - had all that we needed.

Stayed Sep 13, 2025I have been coming to Bar Harbor for over 20 years and this is the nicest property that we have stayed at. Charming , super clean house, great location. Only caveat is there is only parking for 1 vehicle.

Stayed Jun 14, 2025We loved this house. It is perfect for a family of 3 or 4. Great location on a quiet street but only a block from everything. It was very clean inside. They had everything we needed including coffee. The only thing to be aware of is that the booking and payment process was unusual because they use a private rental agency. This group was extremely friendly, responsive, and helpful. However, I spent almost an hour with VRBO trying to figure a few things out. Also, this home adds a large 3.5% credit card charge which is OK; but it was not fully disclosed prior to booking. The whole experience was stressful.We would love to stay here again and highly recommend this home for anyone visiting Bar Harbor!

Stayed Sep 14, 2024You know what they say about real estate...location, location, location. Chez Acadia has a great location, within walking distance of everything you would want to do in town. The home was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The owners live on the second floor so are close by if there are any problems (which we did not have). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Jul 21, 2018This is a charming rental property on a quiet street, within walking distance to everything. There was plenty of room for the four of us. It was also nice to be able to walk to the busses for the park, downtown shops and restaurants, the sand bar to Bar Island, and the grocery store. We also enjoyed relaxing on the front porch.

Stayed Jun 2, 2018A great house with a fantastic location. Everything in town is within waking distance from Chez Acadia. The couple that own the house live upstairs and are super. They made us feel right at home. The house is well outfitted and we couldn't have been happier with the setup. When we return to Bar Harbor this is the place we will stay again. That tells you how satisfied we were!!
