Chesterman Beach Fine Art Vacation House - Walking distance to North Chesterman

This was a very comfortable place to stay. Kitchen had everything you need. Would stay again!

Overall, the property is spacious with different sitting areas and 2 floors, its a 5 min walk to the beach and quiet neighborhood. Kitchen is decently equipped, but there were no bathroom soaps/shampoos. The place is relatively clean, but it could use some basic TLC. The outdoor deck definitely needs some attention. Given the location is so central to Chesterman Beach and walking distance to some shops/coffee/eating places we enjoyed our stay and would book again.

We loved the location! The beach is really close, less than a 5 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Tofino. The house was cute, a little on the unkept side. While the BBQ did function, it was so rusty that it was not safe to use. Last thing you want is to poison your family while on Vacation.

Great spot right near North Chestermans beach. Easy walk to surf. It is far roomier than you perceive based on the images. Wonderful communication and great for a family. Note for anyone with little ones just learning to walk, the drop-down living area may keep you busy as they climb up and down the steps. I would absolutely come back.

Could have used a toaster - rather than the toaster oven that wasn’t ideal. And perhaps the screens around the deck could be replaced. The ones there were very dirty and in disrepair.

Place was clean, great location. Did smell like a dog had been there, but it is a pet friendly accommodation. Kitchen well stocked. Clear instructions for check in and checkout. Would definitely book again.

Location, location, kitchen! Best equipped kitchen I've seen in a short term rental and just a 5-minute walk from Chesterman Beach down a nice forested path.

The house was comfortable, and we really loved being close to the beach and not too far from Tofino.

Kitchen seemed empty, lots of cupboards not much in the was of contents. It was enough for 3 people.Wet laundry in the washer when we arrived.The keys and door locks are sticky.We much appreciate using your place.

Let me start off by saying that I would come back here. The price is great for the location. Clvery close to the beach I surf at (north chesterman.) Here are the things that impacted our enjoyment of the property:1. There is NOTHING in the way of seasonings or oils in the kitchen. No saran wrap or tin foil.2. The cookware utensils are poor quality (scuffed up, I would have thrown them out a while ago)3. The master bed is broken on the left side.4. The fireplace doesnt work but the place is very warm!5. Washer and dryer are loud and near the master bedroom. No detergent is provided.6. The front door lock is sticky when you go to lock it. It does lock if youre gentle with it.7. The TV is comically small. 8. We were 3 people staying 6 nights and we were provided with 4 rolls of toilet paper.9. This house has been lived in and enjoyed by many people but I doubt a deep clean has been done in a long time.Again, I would stay here. I'm not picky about sliding off the bed all night or straining my eyes on the 30 inch tv. I told my in laws about it, however, and they are reconsidering their booking. The bed is a big deal to them.

The host, Esther was responsive to any questions and everything was very nice! Don't forget to bring kitchen amenities like S&P, parchment paper, or tin foil if youre cooking. Also, the stove elements, you have to push in lightly and rotate to your desired temperature. There is a list of residence notes near the rear sliding glass door that contains useful intel (fireplace instructions, wifi details etc) that we saw on our last day :)A beautiful location, most serene and the beach well...a phenom! And appies/drinks at Wickanninnish is breathtaking (end of the street, R fork, go to end)!

Close to Chesterman beach which was excellent, easy to walk.

This small 2 bedroom home was perfect for us. Just a short walk to the beach, private, and driving distance to all the amenities of town. Very quiet location. Esther was available to give us some tips about local venues while we were there and was very friendly, kind and helpful. We are already talking about going back and staying there again next year.

Property in sad need of upkeep.

Location was great, walking distance to Chesterman. The property needs maintenance in all areas (landscaping was encroaching the property and made it a bit spooky looking at first glance, leaky taps, fireplace not working)..and the cleaners were not thorough leading me to do once overs in many areas when we arrived. The kitchen sink had the previous guests food clogging the sink..pretty gross. Pretty costly stay considering these factors at 1000.00 for 2 night.

We had the best time at this property! The 5 minute walk to the beach was so amazing! The home has everything necessary. We enjoyed the entire community because everything was nearby. We spent two days just at the nearby Chesterman beach. We came home to cook dinner and walk back to the beach for the sunset every night. It was perfect for us!

House was exactly what we expected. It was clean and organized. Was in a really beautiful area and a 5 minute walk to chesterman beach. I would absolutely stay again.

Clean upstairs with two small beds perfect for the kids, outdoor shower (found on day two) requires a little finesse to get to without upsetting interior finishes (no exterior access), very tired front landscaping and back elevated deck (deteriorated picnic table slowly returning back to the earth), generally clean interior with some black staining around upper windows (limited airflow around curtains), and nice two-sided gas fireplace (the unfortunately is only off or full blast way too hot). A pretty good accommodation, with the price reflecting what you get.

Property is worn down and needs repainting and repairs throughout. Checked out early to stay elsewhere. Was refunded by owner. Location is ideal.

Older rental but it had everything we needed. Location was most important and it was good. About 4 blocks walk to the beach. Good hot outdoor shower on back deck. New deck chairs and table. Comfortable beds. Easy check in and out and responsive host.

We travelled with our elder son and dog.. it was just right . The house is well equipped with towels blankets and cozy throws. The kitchen is well stacked with cooking supplies and coffee tea makers .. we had ample free parking and the surroundings are safe and quiet . I enjoyed the books as well and read two of them . Smart tv lets you sign in to your personal Netflix and Prime accounts for movie night . Chesterman Beach is short walk away with easy access to the beach . We hiked biked surfed and drove down town for a quick bite and groceries.. overall totally loved the stay and place .

Our third stay at this property and it was awesome again! The large space and location to the beach made our getaway most enjoyable.

This house is unique, a little run-down, hard to heat, comfortable bed, very uncomfortable couch, very lovely art on the walls.

There’s a path close by that leads to Chesterman Beach. The house is very nice and clean. Quiet neighborhood. The biggest draw for us was the closeness to our favorite beach

2 blocks from beach, roomy for 5 people, close to Chesterman beach, 10 minute ride to Tofino.

We book Esther's place every year and are never disappointed. The house is wonderfully set up to enjoy the inside and outside deck. The location is perfect for walking down to the beach for a surf. Esther herself is always kind and welcoming.

Overall a lovely stay and our rental was extremely comfortable. It's much larger than it looks from the ouside. Well equipped, maybe some tisues, but I'm not complaining. Plenty of cutlery, crockery and saucepans, etc. Definitely would stay again.
