We had an amazing trip. The house was well furnished, and stocked with lots of extras I didn't expect. The beds were comfortable. The views from the house are breathtaking. The dock is extremely nice, and so convenient for swimming and boating.

Great location, great house, great property. Great dock. The house is unique and had everything we needed (4 adults, 4 kids). Comfortable beds. Tough fishing. If you're bringing a boat and need to charge be sure to bring a long extension cord (200'). The inflatable stand up paddle boards are high quality and we used them a bunch. The cove is very quiet, most boats and jet skis stay away from the dock so it's great for swimming and floating. The host recommended some hikes, waterfalls and restaurants that were great. The marina is right around the corner and great for launching a boat or renting a boat (we rented a pontoon for a day, very reasonable). Beautiful lake (hint - the best view are on the other side of the bridge by the marina).

House was very clean and accurately listed! Anna is a wonderful host and was very responsive to any questions we had! The house is fully stocked with everything you need! The view from the living room was fantastic and I loved that the dock was close enough that you could watch the kids fish and swim from the patio chairs!

We had a great time fishing. We were hit by a really bad storm while we were there. But all in all we had a really great time. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Every room had a view of the lake.

The boat dock is really nice and the boat launch is very close by. This is the place to stay for boating. After boating the backyard area is ideally designed for hanging out and BBQ. Will definitely come back.

We loved our stay. The house is fun- very retro! The dock was great. The view was stunning.

Anna was very responsive in all our needs for the property while we were the for Labor Day weekend. The dock on the lake is really nice and large. My only feedback is that the towels provided for showering were quite small, but besides that we enjoyed our time at the house!

Our family was looking for a lake trip, not too far from home, that we could bring our own boat and water toys. Dropping in at Oak Grove Boat Launch was so convenient. Literally, a straight shot on the water to the dock. My husband dropped us in at the ramp and drove the short distance to the house. Note* he crossed a narrow bridge to get to the house with the trailer. We were able to park our 27-foot trailer at the house, but negotiating it through the horseshoe drive took skill. ? The home is perfectly appointed for immediate fun on the water. The paddle boards were a hit! We brought our boat, 2 kayaks, fishing gear and a floating dock/lillypad. The grill was great for hotdogs. The porch fire pit - ideal for s’mores at a cotton candy sunset. The kitchen had everything we needed. We kept it simple and prioritized as much time on the water as we could! The lake is so big and beautiful. Plenty of spots on the water for food and drinks, endless spots for swimming and fishing. We even saw a bald eagle on the property! Everyone slept so well in the comfortable beds and loved waking up to water views from every room. We loved a family movie night and enjoyed the dock/cove for hours. This house was exactly what we were looking for to enjoy our family, Cherokee Lake and use our own boat. If you are looking for a quintessential lake get away, this is your destination!! Grateful we’ve been there and hope to return!
