Stayed Jan 16, 2025We had a great stay at the Chequamegon House! The house is full of character and charm. The back porch area was great to store our skis and coolers. Beds were comfy and house is located within walking distance to great restaurants and shops in Cable. Communication with owners was great!

Stayed Sep 22, 2023My family needed a place to stay during the Birkie Trail Run festivities and this home was perfect. Great location to the start of the race which made it easy to have someone drop those of us running off and then return later. The house was clean and spacious. We were impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was, we cooked almost all our meals and had everything we needed to prepare dinners. Communication with the property manger was so quick, I appreciate having questions answered fast and everything set prior to our arrival. If we ever run Birkie again, I will book the same location. Thank you.

Stayed Mar 9, 2023Great stay. We were in Cable for Fat Bike Birkie and proximity to the venue, coffee and lunch at Velo Cafe, groceries and local snowshoeing trails made this property the perfect landing pad. We cooked our dinners each night and everything we needed was provided. No complaints at all and would stay again when the Birkie beckons!
