Cheerful Downtown 3 Bedroom home in the historic area of Columbus

You cannot beat the walk-ability of this house to downtown Columbus! Our family loved walking to the library, kidscommons, Commons indoor playground, and Lucabe coffee shop. We loved the three bedrooms to spread out. Just a note that the one bathroom is shared by the two bedrooms and the master bedroom must walk all the way to the back of the house in order to use that other bathroom. Watch out for bug bites when outside of the house. This isn't an issue that the owner can fix though because the water pools on the curb in the road out front leading to lots of insects- just bring your bug spray! Communication was always great with the owner! They even came to our rescue when my son got us locked out of the house. The house was clean upon our arrival. We enjoyed our time and would definitely stay at this house again.

All the reviews i read prior to our stay here was spot on. The front porch is great! It was very comfortable! The communication was great. I had some prblems getting in when i first arrived that was no fault of mine or the owners but they responded immediately and made sure i got in. There was some cosmetic damage in the bathroom and the floors was a little uneven in spots and did sqeak occasionally and I LOVED IT!! It is a old house. For it being as old as it is, they do an excellent job of keeping up on it! The occasional squeak in the floor reminded me of when i was younger in my grandmas house and it made me feel at home. This house is great if you want to stay somewhere with a home feeling. Its not a good place if you are expecting room service, buttlers or maids! Location is great if you want to explore the downtown area--which we did--only a two block walk. Quiet street. Details taken care of in the house. It is an older house so if you know to expect that you won't be disappointed. Was very clean. Check in and check out was super easy. I was worried about parking on the street, but we always found a spot and there is a reserved spot in the back of the house. I would gladly book again.

Place was nice. Beds were soft. Temperature inside was nice. Location was good. Parking out back, out front there was no room. Which worked better for us anyways. If you are bringing dogs, the fence is more for small dogs under about 10 to 20 lbs. Water pressure a little low but ok. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, a great experience! Owner was VERY responsive to questions I had leading up to our stay, and very quick to respond to a few questions I had upon check in.

Needed some updates. Not well late out for my 83 yr old mom. The bed she was able to get in didn't have a bathroom near. I had asked for early check in. The person I communicated with didn't tell cleaning person so I scared her. The temperature was either freezing or hot! Also the dishwasher smelled. Other than that, great location

The home is charming! Quiet neighborhood and very clean. We brought in our own prepared food so we didnt use the kitchen set up much. I would recommend this for a younger family, not for elderly. Comfortably set up for a family of 4 in the living room and kitchen. The host came promptly to our rescue when we locked ourselves out which we were very grateful. Over all we enjoyed our visit. Thanks so much.

House is perfectly situated to take in Columbus Indiana… really couldn’t be more perfect. Parking was very easy and the neighborhood quite quiet.The house was nicely laid out a relaxing place to stay. The house was overall quite clean with a couple minor issues that were pointed out to the owner.Would absolutely stay there again if we found ourselves in the area.

Very cute home, just as described! Within walking distance to several great restaurants! Made the quick drive to Nashville IN for some fun shopping! Equally close to Brown County State Park. Would stay here again!

This home is in a beautiful quiet location outside of Indianapolis. The house itself is very charming and our group had a great time.

The property could not be located any more conveniently. We were visiting for the architecture, and the tours and information from the nearby Visitors' Center was fantastic. We walked downtown, into the IM Pei library next door, and drove all over Columbus without any trouble at all. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. The only concern was the black mold outside the shower and the need to replace the caulk inside. We are both retired faculty from programs of interor design and architecture, and sensitive to issues like mold.

Cute, cozy home that was clean and in the perfect location for downtown. This house had everything we needed.
