This house exceeded all of our expectations. Beautifully furnished. Immaculately clean. Everything provided. An absolutely beautiful garden. Walk to beaches, restaurants, and the center of the charming village. Highly recommended.
The Briggs House could not have been better for our trip. The location was perfect for traveling up and down the Cape to our destinations, easy access and convenient. The house had everything we needed as far as amenities go, was very spacious for 6 adults and 3 kids. The scenery was incredible, immaculate garden and the huge yard made our trip, with the kids and adults. Close access to Chatham's amazing restaurants and several area beaches. Could go on and on, but to sum it up, an absolutely PERFECT place to celebrate our anniversaries!!
We had a wonderful trip and loved the charm of the house. It was in a fantastic location and we would certainly go back.
We enjoyed an exceptional week in this most special home! Character and charm without sacrificing modern comforts. Walk to a private beach using a secret passage through the garden or stroll to main street, only 10 minutes away, to grab breakfast. Five adults shared the home enjoying evening fires, the garden and fruit trees, lawn games and outstanding local restaurants. This is a great vacation home and the owners could nt have been more attentive Great place!
My family has stayed at this gorgeous seaside home twice and are booked for our third stay this summer. Cape Cod memories were made for my children here in one of the most beautiful settings imaginable. The glorious perennial and herb gardens overlooking the sweeping, perfectly manicured lawn (ideal for weddings) were where we enjoyed morning coffee, lunch, cocktails at twilight, all in Adirondack chairs watching our children play sports and games on the huge, soft lawn. So peaceful! The house is very comfortable; we loved the back room overlooking the gardens for family time, movie and games. The Children's House is great - yes, there is a house just for kids, with two beds and bathroom for sleepovers and fun right next to the main house! We walked to the ocean and rocks, at the back of the lawn with a secret bower walkway we all loved - felt like explorers! Chatham Bars Inn, great rocky beaches, the fish market where seals come to hang out and eat, and the picturesque town of Chatham are all within walking distance, as are great walks along the shore road. Quick drives to many neat towns for clamming, musseling, and whale watching, and Provincetown is a fun day trip. Robert, the owner, is a delight to work with, and provides many helpful tips. We thank him and this lovely getaway for our Cape Cod memories, so precious to all of us!
My family (wife and 3 kids) stayed here for a week in June 2013! First off, the house is beautiful!!!!! It was clean and roomy and very comfortable! The home is in a wonderful location as we walked to town for shopping and food. We also walked to the Chatham baseball games...AWESOME!!!!! Very close to the Chatham Pier Fish Market and the wonderful Chatham Bars Inn. Robert, the owner was extremely helpful in every way! If you are thinking so staying in Chatham, I would strongly advise staying here...you won't be disappointed!!!!!!
