We stayed for 2 months during the remodel of our house. This place is very cozy, and the office made it really easy to work remotely. Perfect for a long term stay because they have literally anything you could possibly need for cooking and day to day activities. The neighborhood is very quiet and family friendly, and there are a lot of foods carts and restaurants within walking distance. Owners are very nice and super responsive. Yard was nice and secure, and the covered patio was great for waiting outside with the dogs on rainy days. Would definitely recommend this place especially for anyone doing a longer stay.
We have been staying here while waiting for our home to be repaired. We have found it to be a comfortable space with everything we need. Wendy has been an excellent and friendly host. The side yard is beautiful and a great space to play with our dogs or enjoy a meal outside during warmer weather. The location is within walking distance to all the restaurants, grocery stores, and businesses on Woodstock.
We have had an excellent experience staying in this home. We have extended out our stay because we've been so comfortable here. The location is convenient and our dogs have enjoyed having access to the cozy side yard. Wendy has been prompt and easy to communicate with. We would recommend staying here to anyone looking.
We stayed in this cozy home for 2.5 months while we were waiting for our house to sell/pending move out of state. We loved the backyard and the house’s proximity to Woodstock Park and the Woodstock “town center”, where we could get groceries, dine out, and/or visit the library all within a 5-10 minute walk. There were lots of books, games and other activities to keep us busy. Wendy, the host, was responsive and helpful.
We enjoyed our stay here for 2 months while our home is being remodeled. Great neighborhood and lots of things to explore within walking distance. Home is cozy and very well stocked.
We stayed at this property for 2 months summer of 2021. The house was perfect - clean and cozy and very well equipped with just about anything you could think of, from kitchen supplies to games to DVDs. The beds were comfy, and the location was excellent, within a short walk of restaurants and grocery stores, and a quick drive to downtown. Reed College was a couple of blocks away, and we spent many mornings walking the lovely campus and hiking trails in the woods adjacent. Wendy and Ward were very responsive and accommodating. All in all a very positive experience!
We stayed for the winter while we waited to move into a new home. Woodstock is a perfect neighborhood to walk in, picnic, shop, eat and exercise. The home was very comfortable for 4 adults needing to work and attend school on line. Sweet backyard, great heating and shower. All the comforts you would need. Peaceful day and night. Wendy was friendly and always available and booking and checking in were simple.
This was such a great place to stay to get to know Portland. Nice cozy downstairs with comfy couches and everything you need in the kitchen to cook. Wonderful backyard that you can enjoy rain or shine, with covered area and lighting for night time. Woodstock has a nice selection of restaurants, coffee shops and bars/breweries that are walkable to get to. Double Mountain brewing for Pizza/beer and Tom Yum for Thai were two of our favorites. Two grocery stores, a bakery and Otto's meat market who could ask for more! (ok I'm kind of food oriented). Woodstock park a block away is a pretty tree filled park with nice off leash dog area and playground for kids. Quick drive/Lyft to Division, Sellwood, Mt. Tabor, 15 mins to Downtown / E Burnside etc.
We stayed here for 3 months while our own home was being remodeled. It was an excellent choice. The house had everything we needed. The house is well furnished, well supplied and very well organized, including books, jigsaw puzzles and games. Nice little fenced side yard with a protected overhang covering a picnic table and barbecue. There is a big park 2 blocks away with a no fence off leash dog area. Just a few blocks to New seasons Market and Safeway. Cloud City Ice Cream next to Safeway with great ice cream. Grand Central Bakery just another block away. Good restaurants also walking distance. Wendy was very responsive for any issues that came up. We were very happy with the entire stay.
