Tucked away among Clinton's evergreen woodlands like a quaint woodcutter's cottage, this home brings peace, charm, and comfort to any Whidbey Island getaway. This is a place for evenings spent diving into a good book, playing board games by a crackling fire, and gathering around the backyard firepit for s'mores and storiesat twilight.

This two-story cottage is wonderfully secluded in the outskirts of Clinton, about five miles from town and the ferry terminal. It's a beautiful setting for staying in and relaxing, yet you'll also be close to many wonders of Whidbey. Explore picturesque downtown Langley (five miles), Maxwelton Beach’s Dave Mackie County Park (playground, covered picnicking, swimming, and Olympic Mountain views), or take in the view at Double Bluff Beach (nine miles) where long beach hikes can be enjoyed. Also, consider a morning hike at South Whidbey State Park where beach access or old-growth “Classic U” trails are available (14 miles).

Covered porches adorn both sides of the cottage, providing the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee and watch your kids play in the wildflower lawn. The interior is a showcase of timber craftsmanship, from the charming built-ins to the exposed rafters. Enjoy a well-equipped kitchen, a window side dining space, and a living room where you can snuggle up with a good movie and a view of the woods.

In addition to the two cozy bedrooms upstairs, there's a child's sleeping nook on the ground floor. The second bedroom has been equipped with additional electrical outlets so crafters and quilters can bring their sewing machines and supplies.

Highly recommend is you are looking for a well- maintained, unique experience in. Cabin on Whidbey Island. All the details are what make it special. Make sure you know how to use a wood furnace and bring supplies (wood and matches). King bed is awesome! Pull out is good too. Very private and magical.

Be aware that this location has a very tight /sharp turning driveway. Not what you want to see driving a Dodge 5500 towing a 25' equipment trailer. On the flip side. The cabin is GREAT with lots of wonderful wood working. Nice ambiance with the outdoor lights and covered seating area.

The property is spacious and well laid out. The home is cleverly turned out with native woods and has loads of conveniences. The fire pit and treehouse were both favorites. It was a very pleasant stay

This is a charming, woodland house, with many unique features. Unfortunately, we had some problems. The code we were sent to open the lockbox wasn't right, and I spent 20 minutes on the phone because no one answered the property management number; finally the text support was able to get us the right code. Inside the house, we found areas that had obviously not been cleaned/checked since the last guests - dead bugs under the pillows on the beds, on the windowsills, and evidence of mice. Too bad, because it's really a cute place, and the treehouse and outdoor areas are really nice.

Quiet, rustic cabin/home. Not flashy or showing, it is warm and comfortable. Back in the woods so it's so quiet and peaceful. This is my second time here...Will be back in tge future.
