Charming Victorian Home In Wausau's River Front District!

We stay at a lot of VBRO's and I would have to say that Al and Keele are the best hosts we have encountered. Prroperty description was spot on. Communication was excellent. The house might be old but is well taken care of and comfortable. One morning we woke up and it was 2 degrees outside but we could not tell from inside the house, We will continue to stay at this house when in Wausau.

Excellent hosts. We stay here every year. Close to good food and about 15 minutes from ski hill.

Cozy and clean. In need of a new shower head. Would have been nice if there were garnishments in the fridge. All in all what we expected.

First off, pictures don’t do it justice, you won’t find a cleaner and well preserved property no matter how much you spend. There’s nothing fancy here and the price reflects that, but the hosts have made this property a great comfortable stay that’s affordable for a family in town for skiing, water sports or just to get away and enjoy what Wausau has to offer. This will be our number one property when coming back to visit. Thanks again!

This is a well renovated older home. There is a kitchen well stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware, etc. Two bedrooms and a bath. The living room is good sized and the furniture comfortable. It was clean and in good condition. We would stay there again.

Keele took good care of us, and provided a lovely little home for our 2-ladies retreat weekend.

While we were here, Wausau got 10 of snow. They were prompt coming to snowblow the drive and shovel the walkways. This is a cute house. Plenty of room. We had 5. Close to a couple fun bars too!

OK, It is an old house but it is very comfortable. It is in a central location, just 10 minutes to Granite Peak Ski Resort. Hosts are exceptional. Very quick to respond to questions. Been staying here for years and I am going to book next year's stay after I finish this review.

This home is special! It was the perfect size for my cousin and I to enjoy a weekend of dining and shopping in Wausau! The original charm of the home - floors, kitchen cabinets, tub, arches, etc. was so cool. The updates made it comfortable - comfortable furniture, mattress, bedding, tv/wifi, parking. Communication with the host was awesome as well! I highly recommend and hope to be back next year!!

Wonderful house for a weekend stay. We loved the 50s decor and charm. Beds were comfortable, bathroom had a charming medicine cabinet and tiled shower. The owner was very easy to work with and check-in process painless. We will be staying here again!

Clean, cute, off street parking, comfortable beds. Loved the charm. Location was perfect. Close to the river walk and ice arena for hockey. We locked ourselves out and owner responded eithin 15 minites.

Absolutely the most well managed Vrbo we have used so far. All of our other experiences have been pleasant, but this was head and shoulders above the rest. Nicely priced and very clean. ???

My now wife and I chose this place during our wedding weekend!! We absolutely loved how cute it was! We even had some getting ready photos shot in here. The place is incredibly clean and well maintained! Host was very sweet and responsive!! If we stayed in Wausau again, I would absolutely give this place another go! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, with a comfortable space. It was not overly crowded neighborhood, and cute.
