From the very beginning, Stephen was there to show us around, and answer any questions we had. House provided all that we needed, which was very refreshing from what we have experienced. Location was very quiet. You can access grocery, drugstore and liquor store as well as an atm without having to on the highway. Also you can get to Nokomis beach and the north jetty without needing the highway. The only negative, but would not lower my rating, is the lack of cable TV. However that is clearly stated in his description. We definitely want to rent again, God willing. Thank you Stephen for sharing your wonderful home with us. See you again, Marti and Walt
I am so torn about giving this beautiful home 4 stars. I wish I could give it 5 since it is in such a beautiful setting and the house is so comfortable. Stephen is so nice and goes overboard to assure our comfort. The 2 reasons why I can't rate it 5 are: (1) The TV connection is wifi, and on many days we had terrible reception and couldn't get many channels. We missed 3 of the playoff games because we couldn't get reception. While you don't go to Florida to watch TV, that was a big deal for us. Perhaps we didn't know how to access it properly. (2) The other disappointment was that we couldn't walk down to the waters edge that you see from the backyard. While we understood that the fence depicted was the neighbor's property, we didn't understand until we got down there that we couldn't walk back there. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and if the above 2 items aren't important to you, I would highly recommend this house.
While you can't go down to the boat docks from this property you will have good views of the water and nice breezes from the sea. Laid back beach town with lots of biking, walking and hunting for shells and shark's teeth. Property was clean and decorated nicely. The owner was very responsive to any issues. Note: While it looks like the property is fenced, the back yard is not completely fenced. The owner did accurately describe this to us when we asked. Would stay again!!
