The house is charming , beautifully decorated and clean. We came with our 11 year old west highland terrier and he loved it too. The view from the back deck is really nice. Only a block away from the road to downtown Saugatuck! We like to cook and the stove worked well. Fridge was clean. We came in January so it was very quiet. A great place to restore and do some shopping!! Joncie was accommodating with our request for a later check out. We'd love to visit here again.

Great property! Very comfortable beds and couch. Easy to check in and out. Great linens and kitchen. Very close to everything. I’d encourage the owner to get a few more big plates, small knives, and new pillows for one bed. Otherwise it was great! We would stay again.

It’s was a fairly easy walk to the main business area. About 15 minutes each way and only a short bit along the busy road. Home had nice windows and deck. Treacherous step down to kitchen and treacherous little steps leading to side yard…be mindful. Kitchen could have used a few more amenities like some Saran Wrap, blender, and sharper knives. Would have preferred king size beds in both rooms but not sure they would fit. Great water pressure, heat, and comfy sofa with good tv. Overall, very nice and cozy. And THANK YOU for allowing dogs…it made our trip possible to have her with us. Nice touch to have a jar of dog biscuits on the counter.

This is our second time staying at the property, and we’ve enjoyed it each visit. The back deck is great for reading or enjoying a glass of wine. You do either need to drive to Saugatuck or a 15-20 min walk, but both are easy. We preferred to be a bit removed from all the foot traffic of Saugatuck in favor of a campfire. Also easy to get to favorite restaurants like Pennyroyal, Farmhouse Deli and more on Blue Star Highway.

My sister and I had a lovely stay at the cottage. We went to Holland and Saugatuck. This is the second time at the cottage. We chose it because of it cleanliness and charm.

It was very cute, comfortable, clean, and well stocked with all the little things you might need. We will definitely return!

Very clean, nice fully functional appliances and accessories for the kitchen. Would have liked at least one box of Kleenex. It was a very cozy home away from home experience.

We had a wedding at the IVY house and decided to make it a weekend trip out of it. Great central location! Even saw some wild turkey's and a neighborhood chicken!

We found the cottage to be a warm and cozy place to enjoy our 10 day visit to west Michigan. We tried several restaurants and some hiking trails in/near Saugatuck and the cottage is a short, easy drive from Holland where there is additional shopping, dining, hiking and beaches. The neighborhood was quiet and off the main highway; we also had nice views of the bridge over the Kalamazoo River from the back of the house. Our host, Joncie, was quick to respond to messages.

Great little cottage. Clean and cozy. Awesome kitchen for a smaller sized property. The cottage itself has some lovely interior architecture features you won’t see in a hotel. Hostess very responsive. Plan to stay again.

My friend and I enjoyed a quiet mom getaway. It was a beautiful setting and the cottage had a really cozy vibe! The cottage was about 3 minutes drive to downtown Saugatuck making everything really accessible. Thanks for making it a relaxing stay.

What a great relaxing long weekend. To top it off, a fabulous Halloween parade in Douglas. The accommodations were pleasant as always. We will definitely be back in the spring.

This cottage is perfectly located to get to all of the attractions in Saugatuck. When you want to be a part of the scene, it’s fewer than 10 minutes away. When you want to relax, the property is incredibly cozy with indoor and two outdoor spaces. It is clean and the kitchen is stocked with all of the appliances you need to make any and all kinds of meals.

Very clean, and accurately described home. The location is perfect, and close to everything. Plenty of seating, and furniture. The only recommendation would be to switch out the bed in the 1st bedroom. We decided not to use it after the 1st night. Not appropriate for an adult and extremely hard. Still a 5 star review as this is a very nice property at a fair price. We would recommend and would stay again.

It was everything I wanted this day to be. It was quiet it was clean and it was convenient.

Sweet well kept little hideaway for the two of us and our dog. Property was well maintained and decorated with a touch of the eclectic. Loved the fenced in side patio with fire pit. Cute balcony off the back of the house that overlooked a woodsy natural back yard best for viewing from a balcony as it was on a hill. We thought there was a park nearby to walk the dog but it didn't materialize, however it was in a tucked away little area of homes that allowed for walking on leash on the road. Needs hand rails at front door and from the kitchen down to the lower level exit for the patio that would have been appreciated by us as we are older and can use that extra help when using stairs. Dishwasher needed some attention and light over the stove needed to be replaced. Ample bathroom with shower and tub and large mirror over the sink. Bathtub needed a safety mat in the tub for sure-footedness. All shared with the owner whom we presume will consider some additions/alterations. Walk to town is impractical. Driving across a busy road was preferred and finding a parking spot in the busy resort town of Saugatuck was preferred but difficult to locate parking on a weekend. All in all we enjoyed our stay and felt we had a lot of solitude especially on the patio.
