Stayed May 1, 2025Omaima was the perfect hostess and the house was a perfect balance of charm and convenience. Our home needed extensive repairs and we were required to move out of our house for several months. We wanted something close by and we were so lucky to have found Omaima and the duplex near the Grove and LACMA. The house was clean, fully furnished and stocked with all of the essentials. The yard is beautifully landscaped and maintained and we were welcomed with beautiful flowers from the garden when we arrived. The kitchen was large with ample counter space and cabinets for preparing meals and the laundry room had a full-size washer and dryer. The living room provided the perfect area to relax and unwind. The location is ideal. The duplex is located in one of the most charming and desirable areas in LA. A few blocks away from Beverly Hills, a short walk to The Grove and The Original Farmers Market, boutiques and high-end restaurants on West Third Street and right down the street from LACMA and other world-famous museums and LA landmarks. Communication with Omaima was excellent from start to finish and she always available to answer any questions. This home was the perfect “home away from home” and we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a stylish, clean, comfortable and welcoming place to stay in one of the best neighborhoods in all of Los Angeles.

Stayed Feb 5, 2021About our group - After being forced into online classes and kick out of our college campus due to the covid pandemic, my three girlfriends and I were looking for a place where we could live together and take online classes. This Classic Los Angeles home was everything we could have wanted and more. From the fantastic location to the attentive host, our experience could not have been better! Cleanliness of property - The property is exceptionally well taken care of; everything is neat and clean (rooms, garden, kitchen, and living spaces). When we arrived, the fridge and all the appliances were spotless, the beds were made with freshly washed sheets and linens, and every surface sparkled. Throughout our four-month stay, the yard stayed highly well-maintained, and Omaima had her cleaner come twice. For such a historic house built in 1927, Omaima has done a fantastic job maintaining the property and keeping it up to date, with weekly landscapers, housekeeping, and routine maintenance. Check-in process - Extremely simple and easy. Before our stay, Omaima was gracious enough to give my roommate and me a tour of the place. It was effortless to coordinate the booking and check-in process with Omaima. She is very professional and an experienced host, which made the check-in process simple and the whole experience. Accuracy of the online listing - These photos are incredibly accurate. The furniture is identical to the pictures—the master bedroom and queen bedroom significantly larger than they appear in the images. There are tons of closet and storage space in total there are five walk-in closets. The two smaller bedrooms are connected to the one in the back. You either have to walk through the smaller room beside it or go outside onto the patio. Location and neighborhood - An extremely safe location and is so central to everything in West Hollywood. You are within walking distance of fantastic food on 3rd Street, shopping on Melrose, Fairfax, and the Grove, museums, and Parks. Street traffic is not too heavy, and the neighborhood is a great place to run. Overall rating - Omaima was the best host who works hard to add a professional touch to everything. She lives directly above the property was able to help us whenever we had complications. At the same time, she also left us with plenty of privacy. I couldn't recommend this place more; the security, amenities, attention to small details truly made staying here exceptional.

Stayed Apr 14, 2020We had to travel to LA during the most stressful times in the middle of Covid-19 to get my husband surgery done at USC. We could not find a safer and cleaner place then this house! Omaima was a great hostess and very good at communicating with us if we needed anything! I would highly recommend this place!

Stayed Feb 21, 2020We loved our experience at Omaima’s place. It is spacious, clean and very well-appointed. It was the perfect place for our family of four. The kids books and toys were an especially big hit with our young kids. Omaima was a great host and was wonderful to deal with. We’re hoping we can stay here again on our next visit to LA!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This older home is well kept and shows love of ownership. The towels are big and fluffy, the beds comfortable with great bedding, the kitchen is well stocked and their were fresh flowers on the table. The only complaint is with the small showers, but short of a complete bathroom redo, it isn't fixable. Don't let that stop you! This is a gem in a great neighborhood where you can walk to fine dining. I'd go back in a heartbeat! The owner is wonderful as well. Two thumbs way up.

Stayed Feb 1, 2020The home was adorable- “classic Beverly Hills” - in a beautiful and safe neighborhood close to so many things we walked to. Our hostess was lovely - accommodating and kind. Texted to see if we were comfortable or needed anything. The house was immaculate and well equipped. Of course the showers were small ( that’s how they all used to be) but it added to the charm. We even had a garage stall which was much appreciated. Parking is a premium in CA. We truly enjoyed our weekend there.

Stayed Jan 16, 2020This home is even more gorgeous in person than in the photos. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. This must be about 1000 square feet or more, with high ceilings (10 feet?) and lots of natural daylight through the many picture windows. The Spanish Revival charm of this house is retained throughout, but the kitchen has a modern renovation and is outfitted with everything we needed including a variety of pantry staples (it didn't have a coffee grinder but Omaima brought one in minutes). It is meticulously clean. There is a front porch and an enclosed back patio. The house is a two-story separate duplex - the first floor is the VRBO and the second floor is Omaima's residence. She gives the VRBO guests one bay of the garage, and also has a visiter's tag to hang in your car for street parking. The neighborhood was quiet and only a 5 minute walk to a little coffee shop area and a half-mile from a park with a .33 mile jogging/walking loop. The house has two bathrooms, the second of which is en-suite to the small room with the twin bed (a sort-of maid's room), so there is not really a master suite. The only improvement I could imagine would be a renovation of the main bathroom, which currently retains the beautiful original art deco tiles and has a separate tub and small shower stall that shows its age. Omaima was a wonderful host who checked in by text to make sure we were happy but was never intrusive. I hope to visit again.
