This property is very nice. You wake up to the clip clop of horses in the Amish community. Drawback was the steps leading to the entrance- be person in our party used a walker. Owners are nice and helpful with the shower. Main floor bed was very comfy. 2nd floor, not so much. Overall a nice place to stay for a weekend of events in shipshewana, just 10 minutes down the road.

The property was clean and beautiful. All the comforts of home. The only issue I had was the musty smell. My head started clogging up within a half hour of being there. But, my trusty Zyrtec helped with that. All in all it was a wonderful place to stay and would recommend it.

We love staying here, house is very cute and well decorated!! Beds are comfortable and house was clean! Lots of bathroom towels and they even have washer and dryer with soap. They even supply dry firewood for a bonfire. Quiet little town with a few really good restaurants.

The house was located in a quiet location and was close to the places we wanted to see. Everything was clean and the owners communicated quickly. The washer and dryer were great to have. Just a few things to note was this house is street parking only and if you like to cook, there is only salt and pepper available and no oil. Since this is an older house, one of the quirks were that some light switches are located in the center of the room but the owner has nightlights which helps . Lastly, some of the kitchen and bathroom towels are pretty “well loved” and could use an upgrade . Overall we had a very nice stay here .

This was a perfect spot to catch up college friends (from 1982). We explored with walking around as well as driving to surrounding areas; then we kicked off our shoes for an evening of chatting. Communication from our host was perfect. Great experience.

The home was very clean and decorated in an inviting, down-home way. It is charming just like the title indicates. The property is well maintained, including the outdoor spaces. We loved the front porch, as well as the back patio, where we enjoyed playing games under the shade of the tree. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There was plenty of room for our group of 5. The kitchen was well stocked, making our stay extra convenient since we ate in for most of our meals. The stairs to the upstairs are steep, so keep that in mind for those wishing to use the upstairs bedrooms. Two in our group stayed in the downstairs bedroom to avoid the climb, but the upstairs bedrooms are charming and worth the climb in my opinion. The owner was timely and easy to communicate with. It’s easy to like this property and the hosts who take such good care of it and strive to make the guests feel welcome. We would stay here again.
