Charming Retreat Nestled in Downtown Coeur D' Alene with a Sports Cellar

Great location. Plenty or room the relax. My friends and I had an enjoyable time!

This is a beautiful home however all the beds were double beds I was thinking that it would have some twin beds. It was close to town but we chose to stay at the home very quiet during the day, at night it was as if we were right next door to a dog kennel barking all night. I would stay here again. Worth every penny.

This place was perfect for our golf trip.

We enjoyed our stay at this awesome older home! The kids had a great time in the basement with all the games, etc! However, the house needs a deep cleaning and some updates…there was no dish cloth, dish towels, kitchen hand towels, no soap at the sinks in the bathrooms, the beds were not comfortable, the dining room table chairs are broken, several windows had no screens or did not open.

An older home in a nice neighborhood, within walking distance of downtown. Parts of the house showed its age (squeaky floors, etc), but overall was a great place to stay for our group of 8, including two grandparents and two under 10.We appreciated rooms on various floors to minimize stair use and also create some privacy when needed. The game room was fun for the little ones. Overall, the house came with generally everything we needed for the week (appliances, utensils, and other amenities).The owner was responsive to my messages, and an overall great stay.

Big house. Good for large groups. The beds suck though. No hand soap in kitchen or downstairs bathroom. No sponge or hand towels in kitchen. No smoke detectors? That was a weird one. Hard to find outlets. Too expensive for so many things to be weird. I'm not terribly picky so we just dealt with it.

Great location and communication was great. Easy check lots of amenities. Down side it was very dirty, found some pills on the shelf in the bathroom, 3 chairs had broken legs, upstairs bed had a cracker under the comforter. We had to go buy soap for the bathrooms and dishwasher. Floor was very sticky throughout the house. Fire alarm was beeping non stop, outlet downstairs had no cover and was broken in the wall, so we didn’t dare plug in the air hockey. The kitchen light was hanging down from the ceiling It just needs a deep cleaning and some repairs. Otherwise big house , great location, plenty of amenities.

Home is in a great location It is an old home so needs updating with electricity Many outlets don’t hold chargers. They fall out of wall. And sauna has an exposed plug outside. A good paint job would work too. Jake was a great host and always got back to me immediately.

The outside of house and yard were very unkempt and in need of some attention. There were some lights not working and in disrepair in the house and no smoke alarm in upstairs bedroom. No toilet paper holder in upstairs bathroom. No hand soap in downstair bathroom. No dishwasher soap (they did bring some after calling) Some kitchen cabinets were broken and dirty. One cutting board that was VERY OLD. The refrigerator was missing all drawers and shelves in the door. There were 4 adults, but nobody wanted to stay in the basement or use the hot tub. The welcome booklet was missing the page on the tv info.

1) Picture of outside deck inaccurate - both porches were filthy 2) Couch uncomfortable and unable to accommodate 5 people let alone 12 3) Lamp (corner stand lamp) not working in living room 4) No handrails for either entrance/steps (Not ADA approved) 5) No washcloths/soap, limited supplies 6) Dining room wall clock didn't work 7) Sports center was horrible, pool table too close to walls so unable to play; air hockey table tabs kept falling out onto the floor; TV downstairs was for gaming only which didn't accommodate us. Complete house had ONE TV, unacceptable. 8) No dishwasher detergent - had to wash dishes by hand. 9) Minimal supplies (spices etc.) 10) Refrigerator broken shelves/old. Had plastic baskets for trays. Horrible. 11) Outside deck to hot tub a mess/dirty 12) No coverage on front porch, chair and pillow filthy 13) Surrounding fence and walkways horrible, falling down in some spots, gates inadequate, slates missing, sidewalk. Accident ready to happen. 14) Sheets in queen bed on 2nd level questionable if cleaned. 15) One TV, living room. No TV's in bedrooms. 16) Smelled gas in kitchen. 17) False advertising stating nestled in downtown and definitely not a 9,4 rating. 18) Internet information in book is incorrect, had to contact Jake which was helpful and pleasant.

Interior was satisfactory. Refrigerator was older, did not have shelves on the doors, did not have icemaker and no ice cube trays were provided. Exterior needs work due to overhanging tree limbs, leaves built up on the ground, fence and front gate in need of repair. Spa and gazebo area very unappealing. Internet connection was not reliable. Host slow to respond.

The house was very homey. Great location! I loved the old feel to the home. I would stay there again for sure
