My siblings and I stayed here while we did some genealogy research and it worked out great. Nothing fanny but clean and comfortable. Saw deer and wild turkey in the yard in the mornings.
Very nice home located near the city. Beautiful yard and deer come vist regularly! The host was very help with everything!
Great space for dry camping RV for extra family's short visit. Open concept living space for family meals. Nice ot know Host was nearby to assist.
Charming, time capsule of the home that I grew up in. Wildlife and very large pecan trees are also a defining characteristic. Plenty of room for 6, but we had 4
My daughter and I were attending an event in Evansville, and this property was a perfect location to relax after busy days. The home was clean and well cared for, and the surrounding area was peaceful and quiet. There is easy access to both Evansville and Newburgh for eating or entertainment. We would definitely stay here again!
Process and communication with owner was very good. House and location were great for our short stay in February and the back yard and patio look nice for warmer months. House was a good value and had all the basics we needed. Minutes from big name stores in strip malls or the quaint downtown Newburgh, but in a quiet secluded area.
A nice 3-bedroom house in a quiet but convenient location. We were a party of 6 - 4 adults and 2 children (4 & 6). The open floor layout between the living room and kitchen was ideal for the 2 grandkids. Having access to attached 2 car garage was a plus in December. Check in and check out was straight forward and communication with owner was easy. The only inconvenience was no dishwasher or clothes washer and dryer. We knew this beforehand because the description was clear that the house did not have these appliances. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.
Great little house in country. Wildlife everywhere. 5 minutes to River, restaurants, shopping etc.
We stayed here while scouting and fishing for the Cajun 8 bowfishing tournament. It was very comfortable and well kept. I’d stay here again.
Very clean property. The beds were comfortable also. It has an old midwestern vibe to it that they are trying to maintain (which is nice). I would have rated it higher if there was a 2nd shower and exhaust fans in the bathrooms, but they didn’t build houses like that in 1950 so that is part of the vibe of the house.
We really enjoyed the screened in front porch and the back porch as well. Access to the 2 car garage was a huge plus. The house was very clean and Jon was very responsive to a few questions we had.
