The deer in the area were a delight. The hot tub was very relaxing. Kitchen is fully stocked. Would highly recommend this property to others.

We loved staying here! The hot tub and outdoor fireplace were really nice! Wish we could’ve stayed longer than a night. Kitchen was huge and very nice for making breakfast. Wish the beach was a little closer but the provided amenities more than made up for that!

This is the most charming cottage in a magical setting. Katy and her staff did such a great job in making sure everything was perfect for our stay. We will be back...soon!

This is our second time staying in this home. This time, we stayed for 2 months. I really like this house. The rooms are very nice sized. The decor is perfect. The beds and living room furniture are comfortable. The kitchen has been nicely updated and was well equipped. The back yard is straight out of a fairy tale. It is fully fenced, too. Our kids really enjoyed the hot tub.The host is very responsive to any questions and is very helpful.This is the nicest, roomiest house we've ever rented. We're already booked for next year!

What a gem this house is for the perfect Cambria get away. Katy was a great host and the house is very comfortable and inviting. Great detail was taken in providing all of the practical items needed, as well as the amenities. Sipping wine at sunset on the huge front porch and watching the deer running by across the street was very special. This location has excellent proximity to town, the beach and the extra bonus of being two blocks from the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. Bravo!.

We loved being so close to the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. The hot tub was fine, although I might have made it a littel hotter. The TV worked well and the ability to stream our channels was appreciated. The abundance of space and the number of outlets were also appreciated. Altogether, a very pleasant stay.

Great location for traveling with your dog!! Yars secure and inviting. Short walk to marvelous trails. And hot tubbing after walks and hikes!!

The home is lovely and warm and welcoming. The bedrooms are huge and the beds are super comfortable. The garden in the back is magical. The host is so kind and answers questions quickly. We love this place and can’t wait for the next visit!!!

Very clean, although one bedroom (we did not need) had a horrible smell off and on - maybe a skunk under the house? Rooms were large and comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied except ice maker didn’t work and there were no trays for making ice. We enjoyed the beautiful woodsy setting and private fenced yard. It was quiet and peaceful.

The house was close to the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, which was a big plus. The house itself was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We wished that they had a gas grill, but that was bout the only thing missing. Be prepared to see lots of deer and turkeys in the neighborhood.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home in Cambria and can’t wait to come back again. We saw so many deer and turkeys and other wildlife right in front of the house. The rooms were spacious and lovely. The furniture comfy. And we were so grateful to have been able to bring our elderly dog. The garden was so special as well. You won’t regret staying at this beautiful home!!!

We had 5 wonderful nights at the house and loved everything about it. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking at home. And can I add, our dog had a great time on the porch watching deer and turkeys in the lot across the street!! And the hot tub was a relaxing way to end each day.

We stayed at this property for an evening while passing through the area. Cambria is a charming town and we particularly enjoyed the restaurants downtown. The property is located in a nice hillside neighborhood and has a steep driveway (there is a garage but it is inaccessible to guests), and steep stairs to the front porch; the home is spacious and comfortable. We had no particular difficulties with anything other than that hot tub seemed over chemicaled and foamed greatly. Overall, glad we stayed here.

Our 5th visit to this house. Homeowner is very accommodating and easy to communicate with. House is perfect for our family. Close to town and the beach…each a 5 minute drive or less.

There were many very nice things about this place. It was clean and well appointed. The rooms were huge and the beds comfortable. The TV setup was great but you have to bring your own streaming logins and passwords, which wasn't a big deal for us.We had some communication problems with the owner when we got there, and we couldn't get into the house until we heard back from them, which took well over an hour. There were a few things that keep me from giving it a higher rating, such as the outside landscape needs to be weeded, and there were a few little things that I missed, like fans in the bathroom or better lighting, especially in the bedrooms. But overall it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This house was perfect! It was even better than the photos. It has single level living with 3 very spacious bedrooms. The beds are so comfortable. The living, kitchen, areas are large and very well laid out. This house has everything anyone might need for their stay The outdoor area is very cool. My adult children really enjoyed the hot tub. We've stayed in a few homes and have enjoyed all of them, but this house was definitely the nicest and most comfortable.Location was great and very close to Fiscalini ranch preserve.We would definitely hope to stay here again!The

This location is great for convenient access to Hearst Castle, Cambria restaurants, and Bluff Trail (highly recommend a sunrise stroll!). The house is very comfortable for a family of 4 adults as long as two are good sharing a room with two twin beds. Katy was very responsive with replies to a few questions in advance of our trip.

Being in this house made our Christmas extra special! It was clean, well-stocked, and wonderfully decorated to add lots of holiday charm. They truly thought of everything in terms of what is provided, and the decorative touches in each room. The owner provided quick responses to my questions prior to our stay. The location is fantastic- right down the street from a gorgeous trail head, and right across from an open lot where we saw deer taking a rest! This was definitely one of the best rental homes we've ever stayed in and we would love to return!

This is an amazing home! If you are looking for a peaceful, clean, relaxing space in Cambria this is it! Could not have been happier. Will definitely be back.

Well appointed beautiful home, close to everything

Kicked off the holidays visiting the cambria christmas market. Loved location of home and the holiday decor. It had everything we needed and plenty of space for my family. My kids loved all the wildlife viewing and hiking trail. Plan to come back for longer stay.

We visited Cambria for Thanksgiving and enjoyed our time at this cottage. Our kids and dog especially liked the back yard. The vines and outdoor structures were a perfect backdrop for a child's imagination. The decor was eclectic. Counting squirles througout the house made for a fun game. Only one of the three bedrooms did not have a skylight, so if you like to sleep in, bring a mask. The area was beautiful with hiking trails starting just down the road from the house. The host was wonderful to work with. Very communicitave and she even sent us a list of dog friendly restaurants she recommended.

My sister and I live in opposite ends of California and Cambria is in the middle, so a perfect spot for getting together. We had a great long weekend staying at Lodge Hill. The home was spotless, the beds were comfortable and there was a lot of room to relax and work on crafts. We will be back!

Loved this property, extremely clean, everything you need to be comfortable. Very spacious interior with a cozy private yard. The hot tub was a lovely plus. Just a 5 minute walk down the street to access to trails in the Reserve. I only wish we lived closer to Cambria to take advantage of this little gem more often.

Great condition. Very comfortable for us and our Golden Doodle. Maggie our dog loved all the trails. We love Cambia. Everything we used in the house worked perfectly. Some comments: replace the toilet seat in the guest bathroom. Backyard could use landscaping
