Charming, quiet, country retreat 1890's Centennial Farm house

House was perfect for what we needed. Nice and clean. Nicely stocked with enough supplies needed. Enjoyed reading history of the house. Planning to stay there again.

The Ivy house was fantastic. Great location, plenty of room with a peaceful setting. The accommodations were outstanding the house was exceptionally clean with all the amenities. Sandra was great to work with..Highly recommend!!!

We have rented a lot of properties, and this was one of the best we have stayed in during our vacations. The house and property are beautiful inside and out. It is in a perfect location for many northern Michigan adventures. Sandra was a great host and very responsive. We hope to be back next summer and many summers beyond that.

The property was very private and the setting was lovely. We had plenty of space to spread out, and while the home has a vintage charm everything was very updated. The location was about 15-20 minutes to most of the activities but that really wasn't a problem for us, because we like to go to different spots in the area. Great place for a large family

The owner was very responsive. Instructions and expectations with our stay were clearly communicated. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and fully stocked. The outdoor patio is peaceful and there is plenty of outdoor space for throwing a ball or frisbee around. We had an excellent stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ivy house. We came up to the area for a family wedding. The house was clean and convenient to everything in the area. We had a wonderful day at the Empire beach. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Check in was simple and easy. The kitchen was immaculately clean and had everything we needed to make family meals. Every detail has been thought of!

Sandra's Farmhouse was amazing. It is in a peaceful setting, 25 minutes or so to everything (Bear Dunes, Frankfort for the fireworks, beaches, Fishtown, Traverse City).The outdoor seating was great for breakfasts. Inside was immaculate. Sandra was great to rent from and very thorough with communication. We would stay here again.

This review is as much for the owner as for anyone else coming. Not a single detail on that home was wasted during our stay. I beat my husband at checkers (twice). We taught our kids to play the peg game. My girls loved the swing. My son was obsessed with the frisbee. We made s’mores, and grilled… saw deer and bunnies. The location was incredibly convenient and the home was beautifully appointed. Wish we could have stayed longer. But we WILL be back. Thank you for a lovely stay. We have passed your listing on to friends so they may use / share it as well.

Our stay was great! The house has been lovingly restored, in a quiet location that’s great to get to both Traverse City and Sleeping Bear. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen is well appointed and owner is easy to contact. Had a great stay!

Our stay was wonderful. The house was lovely, had everything we needed, and was impeccably clean. It was in a nice, quiet area with lots of privacy. They thought of everything and were great communicators.

Very good location!! The cleanest house we have ever stayed!!! (Clean enough to let infant crawl on floor with no worries) Own had quick response times with easy communication through text message. We enjoyed our family time and games were soo fun at night.

We enjoyed staying at the Ivy House. The location was convenient to visit the Glen Arbor area, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Glen Lake. The house is newly renovated and has a very nice kitchen that is stocked with all you need to prepare meals. The house is very clean. The host was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. No complaints.

The property is a great location- about 20 minutes from Lake Michigan and 20 minutes from Traverse City. There is a great outdoor space with patio furniture and a grill that we ate at multiple times. The house has been really well renovated. The kitchen was great. The rooms were comfortable and everything was very clean.

Our large family enjoyed a great time together in the Sleeping Bear Dunes region. The Ivy House was the perfect place for us to stay. It was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and more.

The Ivy House was a perfect place to vacation for my daughter’s surprise engagement at Empire Bluffs. The house was impeccable and everyone that walked into house said “wow” to the craftsmanship and attention to detail. Everything was very comfortable and the kitchen is a dream to cook in. It was a central gathering spot for the whole family, from cooking, eating to playing games. The newly engaged couple took their first picture in the kitchen once they came back to the house…such a sweet memory in a beautiful space. The outside patio was our favorite spot for the night and the fire pit was a great addition. We loved the history and will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful experience.
