Charming Périgourdine from the 18th century on the banks of the Dordogne, superb river view.

Lovely location so peaceful gorgeous view comfortable very shabby chic

We booked a house in ‘lower’ Domme or Domme Port. The location, parking, river view, porch, neighbors, space, kitchen equipment, etc. were all superb! The bastide Domme was right up the hill and so many of our favorite Dordogne spots were just a few kilometers away- including Sarlat market. When we had a small issue, the host responded in a timely manner.

The house is located near the Dordogne river and just being able to see the water every day was a pleasure. The house is comfortable and well-equipped. We had a lovely visit.

Location fantastic on banks of the river. Seating / patio area located just over very quiet road in front of property and small table & chairs outside front door. Property inside has basics required ( as you can see from pictures) - not luxurious but as you are out most of the time it is fine. We enjoyed using the property. Excellent communication with owner

We stayed in this charming old house for 3 weeks sept/oct 2020 before we arrived we were having a lot of communication with the owner, such a lovely and helpful woman. Everything was just like we were told it would be, if anything went wrong the owner quickly contacted helpful Réne who was there in a minute he even teached us to búinn a fire in the wood stove. These 3 weeks passed quickly, every day we started with breakfast looking at the beautiful view over Dordogne. The neighbourhood is quiet and there is a bonus having this big parking space. When it started to get colder in the days and night (rainy days) the owner was very concerned about we would not be cold and texted us with information about all kinds of stuff like blankets and such. All in all this was a wonderful vacation and will be cherish deeply over the years. I just wish we could come back some day. I simply recommand this property 100%, it is perfect. This characterful old house enjoys a particularly delightful location. Our holiday coincided with unusually hot weather and we were pleased to discover that the property was on the banks of the beautiful Dordogne where we could cool off by swimming and canoeing. The house is very picturesque, offers generous accommodation and was well equiped with everything we needed. It is an easy walk to a range of restaurants and to a boulangerie and pharmacy. There are many fascinating places to visit within a short drive. We had a great holiday and would be delighted to visit again.

Excellent communication throughout, a beautiful cottage in idyllic setting. Amazingly well equipped and perfect for relaxing holiday but close to all sights and amenities. Highly recommend this cottage. The owners were extremely helpful and I can only talk in superlatives about our experience

We spent one week in this charming and well functioning house. This house has all we needed except WiFi. As it was very hot this week, around 35 degrees, we had great joy of the barbecue area and the pool. We had plenty of choises of walks, biking, canoening and kayaking. We saw many beautiful sigths and charming villages, for instance Domme just a few minutes from the house.
