Charming Original Lake Norman Cabin in Great Location - Come relax and enjoy!

Are stay was everything we could hsve wished for, quiet, clean and right on the lake. Nothing was to far away as far as food or entertainment. Scott was great about being in contact during the process of check in and really let us enjoy our time but responsive if we needed anything at all. Would 100% come back again!

We had a great time spending 2 nights at the cozy cabin. It was so relaxing and peaceful , we were greeted by unexpected visitors a herd of dear around the property which is very cool experience! We caught a lot of cat fish and enjoyed kayaking around the lake! The host is very responsive to questions and very informative , the property has everything we needed from kayaks, paddle board, water tubes, even complementary coffee and wine! We were happy with pur stay and definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a cozy experience!!

This was our 3rd time staying at this lovely lakeside cabin. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay at the lake. We did more cooking than usual this time and the kitchen is fully stocked for your cooking needs. The convenience of kayaks at the house makes it convenient to hop on the lake whenever the mood strikes. Great view of the sunset from the dock. Wonderful host! We will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Cozy Cabin! We kayaked everyday, cooked on the grill, enjoyed the dock and had a fire in the fire pit every evening! Stunning sunsets, so peaceful and we had gorgeous weather all week! This is our second stay at this property and we can’t wait for next year to visit again! Scott is a wonderful host, we just couldn’t ask for better communication!

Stellar host! Easy communication with quick response. Scott was very patient in answering questions. The location is fantastic and the cabin was well equipped. Sitting on the dock was my happy place and I enjoyed hours spent there. I deducted one star because my friend and I both found seating in the living area and on the porch to be very uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful time at the cozy cabin. The attention to detail, even adding a birthday welcome since we were there for my husband's birthday was so appreciated. Everything was clean and organized. We enjoyed grilling each night, fishing and being on the private beach during the days. Gorgeous views. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you to the owners - this place is a gem.

The view is amazing from both the large screened in porch and the spacious dock. The water was warm and so clean. And the kayaks are in great shape and easily accessible.

The location and coziness of this cabin was top-notch. The welcome basket and coffee bar was also a nice unexpected bonus. Our family of 5 had a wonderful week. Having the beach, dock and water toys made the outdoor experience just perfect. We spent most of our week outside. The only issue we had were ants around the kitchen sink/counter but aside from being a little annoying, it wasnt that big of a deal. We would definitely come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cabin! The house is adorable and the location is perfect! Plus my kids caught two huge catfish! We will definitely be back!

This lakefront cabin has it all. It's thoughtfully stocked with virtually everything you need to be comfortable. It's a perfect spot to be as active - or inactive - as you like. There are kayaks and fishing gear and it's not far to restaurants and shopping, or you can veg out at your choice of serene spots. There's the great porch, the deck, chaises on the beach (yes, beach), the dock or comfy beds for an afternoon nap. If you're looking for a classic lake cabin like you remember from your childhood, yet well equipped for modern living and situated in an ideal waterfront setting, this is it.

Absolutely Beautiful. The beach is awesome , the pier was awesome..I would definitely recommend it. I really want to rent this Home again..Just very relaxing There are Deer that visit every day..No washer or dryer. But that was fine.

Weather was ok. But the place was perfect for us.

Everything was phenomenal

What a wonderful place! The cozy cabin is everything we expected and more. Scott’s southern hospitality is unsurpassed. He even bought a recliner for my 87 year old father in law to sleep in as he cannot lay horizontal, making his trip so memorable. We will definitely be back!

We were looking for a lakefront vacation spot near our daughter and other family who live in around the Charlotte area. This was perfect! The beach, dock. kayaks and paddleboard, and outdoor area in general provided fun for all! The cozy cabin was clean and offered all the creature comforts we needed. We found everything to be as stated in the listing and would definitely stay here again! Though we didn't need anything from the host, Scott was easy to work with and friendly! Thank you!

Great location! The accommodations were comfortable. The lake is steps away from property. Awesome deck for fishing or hanging out. Fishing rods, kayaks, paddle boards, horseshoes, fire pit and cornhole. We highly recommend.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this lake house. Cozy Cabin was peaceful and offered wonderful views of Lake Norman. We paddled in the kayaks each day, walked the neighborhood and enjoyed a campfire each night. Scott is a great host and we will most definitely return. Thank you Scott! We had such a nice stay! Absolutely loved spending the week here! The beach was awesome, the screened porch was great for mornings and evenings, and we used the grill daily. There are tons of deer which was exciting to see in the yard. The self check-in was very welcoming on arrival with simple touches waiting for us. Host was responsive and even notified when it would be ready a little early for checkin. Note that this is a 3-season cabin and there is a dewy scent if you are sensitive. Would definitely return for a nice staycation close to Charlotte. And highly recommend the Lowe’s grocery store! Very posh!

We loved cozy cabin! The cabin was very warm and inviting! Scott was very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions we had.. fishing was great!

What I really enjoyed about this place was the size of your own personal beach. The kids could swim in the shallow end or jump off the pier in the deep end. The cabin is secluded under neath the trees. The location and cabin were perfect for what we needed - a week alone. The only thing I would suggest adding a ladder to the pier. Overall, Great clean lake and place to be at.

This was our second vacation at this property. Its charm made us come back. It has a great dock and a beach. Spent every morning on the screened in porch. Watched the sunsets either from the dock or went out on our boat. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed kayaking early in the morning and later in the evening.Also enjoyed watching the deer every morning and evening roam the property. Will definitely be back! Lots of great memories made here!

THE most beautiful lake in an upscale area. The cabin looks to be an original before there were fine houses at most lots. But it’s exactly what we were looking for! It took me back to the days of my youth, going to the lake cottages of my friends’cabins. There I learned to water ski. There is privacy from large wooded areas between each lot. You can’t see the neighbors houses, only their piers & boathouses. It would have been fun to take the flat board or kayaks out, but we’re a little (caugh caugh) past that age! The screen porch is where we spent most of our time, reading & watching the deer, squirrels, a baby bunny & even a fox one morning crossing thru the yard. We ate some great meals out. We particularly liked Havanna 33 and Eddie’s. It would be fun if you have a jet ski or a patio boat. The lake is perfect for couples looking for serenity or a family enjoying water activities.The house is old but comfortable

We decided to change up our usual beach trip and head to a lake this summer. I was looking for a lake house with beach access as well as a dock and this cottage fit the bill! The lot was beautiful and the house perfect for our needs. Scott answered all my questions almost immediately, and even provided a shower chair for my husband! The kids loved the kayaks and paddle board. They spent hours jumping off the dock - a ladder for getting back on the dock would be my only suggestion, but they figured out a way to get back up and it made them extra tired which is a win in my book 😊 A previous renter commented on the ants, and we experienced this too - but I think the rain pushed them in, and as a beach rental owner myself, I know there is not much that can be done to prevent this in an older home. It certainly did not negatively affect our experience at all. We hope to return next year, overall, an incredible first lake house experience!
