Stayed Jun 17, 2025We stayed for nine nights in this beautiful apartment in June 2025. It was an easy process to book with Rita, the host and communication with her was very accessible and beyond helpful. The apartment is accurately described in the listing and pictures and in a quiet local neighborhood accessible to historic city center, restaurants, and railroad station, We appreciated the modern updates, elevator, comfort and AC. The walkability is great. Rita went above and beyond to make us feel welcome with some basic food items, snacks, chilled wine, and tips for our interests in the local area. l

Stayed May 27, 2025Property is very clean. Rita met us at check in and left us local delicacies as well as giving us great tips for restaurants and local shops. The property a 15 minute walk to Bari Centrale and same to Bari Vecchia. Went to Polignano a Mare, Lecce and Monopoli by train, cheap and efficient.

Stayed Feb 9, 2025Everything is great but there is a mosque on the first floor and it is very noisy and loud, praying starting at 6am. Owner has to fo something about the noise coming from the mosque

Stayed Nov 4, 2024The apartment is large and is located within 15-20 minutes walking distance of the train station, Bari Vecchia, and the shopping area downtown. Rita was great at communication, responding quickly, and the apartment has lots of nice touches. I loved having the washer and drying rack. The kitchen was well-stocked. The bed comfortable and the large shower was such a treat!

Stayed Mar 25, 2024My experience at Rita's apartment has been great. She's a great hostess, the apartment is nice, clean, spacious and comfortable. Very well located, really close to the old city center and the sea, with many shops in the neighborhood, great bio-food and vegetarian/vegan restaurants. Highly reccommendable.

Stayed Sep 8, 2022We were greeted by Rita who explained everything and presented us with many food items: grapes, local crackers, muesli for breakfast, milk, mineral water and a pantry filled with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, spices and more. She also arranged for parking in a neighborhood garage, very useful because of the paucity of parking spaces. The apartment, as I said, is luxurious: a spacious bedroom, 2 bathrooms, a most comfortable living room, an open kitchen with a dining room corner. From the apartment, it is an easy walk to the old city. A market is next door. Using the car it is easy to get to interesting places, Matera, Otranto, Lecce. We even took a day to go to Gargano for walks in the forests and visit the perched town of Mante Sant'Angelo. To sum up, if one is going to the south of Italy, this is a home away from home.
