My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property the week of Thanksgiving. The house is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable. It’s also very well appointed, stocked with everything you might need during your stay, from kitchen essentials to thoughtful touches throughout. The location truly cannot be beat! We could easily walk to so many restaurants and shops, and it served as the perfect home base for exploring everything the DMV has to offer. Amy was an attentive host, all instructions were simple and reasonable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the holiday week and would gladly stay here again.

The most beautiful home -- inside and out, filled with a blend of beautiful decor, historical preservation, and comfort. From the moment we arrived until we left it became more and more clear that Amy literally thought of everything. There was nothing that we could have wanted for. The location, a block from the water, is perfect -- an easy walk to wonderful shops, restaurants, easy parking, and King Street (one street over). The atmosphere is amazing, and Amy is such a wonderful host. We had such a great and memorable getaway. We'll be back!!

This is a lovely home. Everything felt fresh and clean. The king bed is comfortable and the bedding is really nice. And our 15-year-old daughter was comfortable using the Murphy bed on the top floor. The location is great as well- lots of good restaurants within a short walk, and fun being close to the waterfront.

This house honestly provided everything we were looking for! Comfort, amenities, location and historical charm all wrapped up into one. We were on a family vacation to explore DC with our 2 adult daughters and looking for a spot outside the city that was still close enough to travel in to DC everyday. This location really fit that well. Getting in to DC only took about 30 minutes but getting back out during rush hour takes quite a bit longer…..unless you take a water taxi back which drops you off very close :0) Our takeaways/key points of interest after the stay: If you need the second bed (Murphy bed) it is in the upstairs loft only accessible through the master bedroom on the third floor. The bathrooms are on the bottom/entry level and the 3rd floor master. The Saturday market in Market Square is a must do, short walk and beautiful produce, cheeses, and fresh breads. There are so many restaurants up King St but definitely make reservations - this location is a HOT SPOT! As for the house itself, it is pristine! The beds were very comfortable and it is well equipped with everything you need during the stay. With everything so up to date and modern you would not know this is a historic location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property in Old Town Alexandria while visiting colleges with my daughters and mother. The home was absolutely charming — spotless, comfortable, and full of character, with thoughtful touches that made it feel extra welcoming. The location was perfect: close to shops, restaurants, and easy access to the Metro for getting around the D.C. area.Amy was incredibly kind and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. It was the perfect home base for a busy, exciting trip, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This was our first family trip to Alexandria/DC area, and we couldn’t be more pleased with our stay. Amy’s home was absolutely beautiful, well-equipped, and in the perfect location. The quaint street, while busy, was undetectable inside the home. Favorites: the gorgeous courtyard, comfortable bed, thoughtful touches in the home (phone chargers!) and proximity to King street and Misha’s coffee shop (try the lavender latte!). We hope to return to finish sight-seeing, as there is so much to do in the area! If we do, we will definitely stay at this beauty again. Thank you, Amy!

Our stay here was perfect! Amy was a wonderful host, meeting us there while checking in and answering any questions we had throughout our stay. The home was AMAZING! Beautiful inside and out, meticulously clean, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, comfortable beds, I could go on and on. Location was ideal as we traveled back and forth to DC most days. Old Town Alexandria is such a nice area. Lots of cute shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!

This beautiful historic, exquisitely decorated home in Old Town Alexandria is truly special. Located on charming Prince Street, it is walking distance to shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and the Potomac waterfront. Everything is as described. The bed is comfortable with cozy linens. The kitchen is very well appointed. In fact, we prepared our Thanksgiving dinner there. The outdoor courtyard is a dream. The home is just minutes from the sites of Washington, DC and Mt. Vernon. The host, Amy, is a delightful, helpful communicator offering neighborhood tips and all the information needed to ensure that arriving, parking, and other directions for the house are smooth and clear. We can't wait to return.

I felt for a moment like I lived in Old Town! This property is well appointed with a beautiful terrace and living space. It was perfect for my 6 night stay. The cobbled street, historic houses and fall color were picture perfect.
