Stayed Dec 20, 2025Hot tub unavailable for safety reasons. Thankfully, it was unseasonably warm, so I was able to walk the beach, in lieu of hot tub time. Cottage was clean. I had to secure all of the windows because they were not closed all of the way. I have been in many many Avon, NC rentals over the years and this was among the cleanest and coziest. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for a family of 5-10.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Access to the beach was close. The lounge chairs outside were great. Lots of windows, the house could use some updates but overall we enjoyed our stay. The parking is a little tough for 4 trucks. We would stay here again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We LOVED our stay at Duneshine! The house is adorable and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we could ever need (we loved the tupperware supply!) and the library of books was a great addition. We had a lovely experience here!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Very nice. Beautiful sunrise views. Walkway and stairs over the dunes make this very comfortable even for older people. Plenty of comfortable beds. Hot tub was awesome. Stovetop was dirty, but not a show stopper, and screened porch has two screens that are missing. Wasn't a problem for us but might make for a miserable time on the screened in porch once the mosquitos come out. Overall, a wonderful time at the beach.
