Charming Neenah House w/ Porch on Lake Winnebago!

Host was welcoming. Pretty location.

The positive things: The house is in a nice quiet location - the chickens in the yard were amusing. There were great views of the lake across the street which was low traffic volume. The interior had beautiful oak flooring throughout and nice cabinets, doors, and trim.The negative things: The house desperately needs painting - first impressions were that it was a dump. The one chair in living room was a wing upholstery chair with one wing broken. The couch was well worn and looked dirty - I couldn't bring myself to sitting in it. The bed frame had been broken and sat on a low metal frame with the headboard leaning against the wall. The linen, blankets, and pillows were of low quality and well worn. If one doesn't sit on the toilet exactly in the center the whole thing leaned to the right and sounded like the water line was going to break - this desperately needs to be fixed.I managed to stay the week as I was gone a lot but if my wife had been with me we likely would have gone to a hotel.For the price paid this was a disappointing experience.

It was peaceful and perfect with amazing views. Clean and comfortable.

Even though rooster and hens belong neighbors, it was fun interacting with them. Will come back

The house was in a convenient location near my father. Fortunately the weather cooperated and it cooled downed. There was no central air and one of the bedrooms did not have a window unit. Most of the windows had plastic overtop they couldn’t open. There are no deadbolts on the doors. The place needs a deep cleaning, lots of dust and cobwebs. The roosters and chickens were quite social and the rooster noises in the morning…. We’ll need I say more. It was not on lake as advertised, but across a busy street.

It was a great property. We loved the screened in porch. Nice and cool in the evenings. It was fun to watch the fireflies. The house needs some TLC. A bit of paint and some touch ups in the outside and a good thorough dusting would do wonders. It was a great place to stay.

Close to everything . Beautiful views of the lake. Nice and quiet location. We really enjoyed staying here very family friendly.

First Trip to the area. The property met all of our needs in terms of basic amenities and has a nice view of the lake. The location is good....it is a short drive to get into town (Neenah) and an easy drive to Green Bay. Overall, very satisfied with the property and stay. I/we would recommend this property!

We came up for a fishing trip. Was perfect for our quick stay. Had everything we needed. The only thing that may need addressed in the future is the shower head pressure. It was low it didnt bother me really because I dont have any hair, but my wife has long hair and it was difficult to was soap out of it. Other than that id stay again! Thank you!

This was a great space that generally fit our needs. The kitchen was decently supplied, and the layout matched the description. The space was fairly clean, although there was an abundance of spiders and webs, so be sure to keep an eye out. The location was also lovely, and right by the lake, and check-in was very easy!

Perfect location for fishing on bago, minutes from boat launches, pleanty of grocery and gas stations nearby.
