Stayed Nov 21, 2020Beautiful view of the Hood Canal! Very relaxing!! Beyond the view, the highlight of the stay was the next-door neighbors to the south of the property who were warm, friendly, educational without being intrusive.

Stayed Jul 11, 2020Being right on the water in your own private home was an amazing experience. The sunrise view in the early morning was simply breathtaking. Loved hearing the waves lap at the shoreline all day.

Stayed Aug 22, 2025Fabulous location and quaint charm! House was clean, literally right on the water, easy to find, and great location to Hoodsport and easy access to lots of hiking. Kitchen was very well stocked, and we spent a lot of time sitting outside enjoying the gorgeous views. Might be good to know that the house does have AC but it’s only in the living room. We managed with the fans provided in the bedrooms (and appreciated them!) but easy to see how the bedrooms could get pretty toasty during the warmer summer months. Overall, that did not diminish our fabulous stay!

Stayed Jul 10, 2025We had a lovely 3 day stay and enjoyed the view. The full moon rise over the water was a highlight. I love the rustic red cabin, just what I was looking for.

Stayed Jun 25, 2025We stayed at this property because it came up in my search for rentals near Olympic National Park. Though, there is limited availability to stay in or near the park we ended up driving 2 hours in and out of the park each day. The view was the high light, and though we didn't really know much about tides and the sea life that appears with low tide, it was cool to see. The house was clean and well appointed. The listing said it had AC, but it is a portable unit that was not hooked up during our stay. Being from the south, I always think AC means Central AC. We were fine during our stay. The fans and temperate weather made us generally comfortable. Olympic National Park is a must see! All areas of the park are diverse and stunning. We also loved the lavender farms in Sequim.

Stayed Jul 6, 2025The house was quaint and had an incredible view from the outside. The inside was very clean and cozy. A few things that could be improved upon are the queen bed (it was so soft my husband and I ended up sleeping in the twin beds), the Rhododendron bush blocks a lot of the view from inside, very old pots and pans, and the yard and breezeway needed some TLC. None of these things ruined our stay, but the owner might consider addressing at some point.

Stayed Aug 11, 2024The property was well maintained, outfitted and clean. It was located near all the hikes we planned on our trip as well as close to a few restaurants and shops. We did not take advantage of the kitchen this trip but noted the abundance of equipment and appliances for any future stay. The waterfront was beautiful and relaxing. The clouds parted in the evening so we were able to do some star gazing and enjoy the meteor shower too from the backyard.

Stayed Aug 17, 2024Good details of how to get there from the property manager prior to arrival. Quaint little beach house, perfect location for daily jaunts into the Olympic National Park and other surrounding areas. Comfortable beds, air conditioning unit and fans in each bedroom to help cool the spaces off in the evening. Well maintained and clean. Wish we could have stayed for a few more days.
