Cozy cabin feel with a “woods” backyard feel. Perfect for a summer or winter get away. Has everything you need for a great weekend getaway and the host is so considerate and attentive. Highly recommend!

The cottage was very nice. We felt very welcome and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. My only suggestion would have been to perhaps power wash the back deck hot tub area. The hot tub was very nice though!

We loved sitting on the back deck, enjoying the hot tub or just sipping a beverage watching the trolly go by & enjoying the wildlife back there. We saw a white squirrel and an owl. We walked around the lake and my husband fished. Just driving through the neighborhood was lovely and we enjoyed the restaurants around there too. Paisley Park is NOT TO BE MISSED. Book the 3-hour tour even if you're not an Uber-Prince Fan like me! The cottage was very comfortable and charming and the hosts were wonderful. I'd stay here every time I'm in the area!

This is a charming place at a great location. Everything is available to live like usual. The bed was very comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. Confession..planes could be heard around 6 am ish but it was not a bother. I would stay here again if I am able to visit the fine twin cities again in the future. Thank you

The location of this listing is amazing!! 1/2 mile walk to coffee (loved it) Sunday there was a farmers market, ice cream shop, bookstore and the best toy store I’ve ever been too! A couple restaurants nearby as well. The neighborhood is very safe. The park is perfect for walking and the nicest playground for kids. You can see it from the back of the cottage. The hot tub was the perfect way to end the day or in between adventures. The zoo in Apple valley has a charge but has lots to do the zoo in St. Paul is free. The sculpture garden and walk to basilica is nice and a playground at the park. coffee shop in the alley by the church was super tasty. The farmers market downtown has lots to offer. Definitely take in a ball game if you can. The cottage is very old school cottage. Lots of charm my son loved the piano. A couple cons- the water pressure in the shower is slow. If you have a couple of younger kids they might be nervous sleeping downstairs I had to sleep with my son down there and he is 8. He didn’t want the bed upstairs because then I’d be to far away in a new place. Baby monitors might help. Tight fit around the table. They use unscented laundry detergent which is awesome for any allergies. It has wear and tear and could use a little fixing up but we absolutely loved it.

We had a nice relaxing stay at the cottage. Everything we needed to cook a meal was available and restaurants and shops in Linden Hills are a short walk away. We loved being so close to Lake Harriet and watching the trolley go by. We loved having our meals in the breakfast nook. The hot tub is a nice amenity but we didn’t have a chance to use it. Would definitely stay again!

Oh my… I arrived in Mpls early and drove by our little cottage. UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL AREA!! We overlook the park, I think! And there are some shops/cafes a few blocks away! I’m hanging out at a quaint brewery tucked away in our neighborhood. The only disappointment is that we don’t live here!!!P.S. very nice hot tub!!

Our stay was wonderful. The property feels like a beautiful secret cabin hidden inside of the big city. The house was clean and exactly as described in the listing. Working with the owner was a breeze. We had a great experience

We came to Minneapolis to bike and enjoyed three days of incredible trail riding around nearby lakes and on beautiful parkways The cottage was quaint, with a well stocked kitchen. We had several delicious dinners at restaurants within walking distance of the cottage. It was fun to walk the quiet neighborhood in the evenings. The back patio was perfect for lunch or an evening fire (wood was available for use). You could not ask for a better Minneapolis location! We highly recommend this property.

My Friend and I came to the cities to celebrate my birthday, to take a break from a hectic summer and just enjoy what the cities had to offer! Location to lake Harriet and bandshell= plus! We enjoyed Morning walks, evening music and a quick lunch by the lake. Location has Easy access to everything. Uber ride to Target Center was super reasonable! Went to state fair and had plans of recouping in the hot tub but weather was too warm. Just relaxed in the shade on the back patio that overlooks the woods and trolley tracks. We waved at kids on trolley as it went by. We ended up not using the hot tub but wanted to. We’ll come back for that! Great hosts! Very responsive but had no issues with the property so just chatted with them. Very friendly! We walked to Linden Hills and had a great meal at Martina’s on our final night. We recommend. We both had a great time and will be back as well as recommend to family and friends.

If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place to stay, that is very cozy and comfortable, then you have come to the right place! We loved this well-lit, well-furnished home, located in close proximity to the lake, along with its nature trails, tasteful concerts and even a wine and ice cream bar! Looking forward to staying here again, next time we visit Minneapolis!
